Maybe you could stop calling people transphobe just because they want fair competitions?
When I say, “XY athletes belong in XY leagues”, it just means that I think the transgirl belongs in my son’s league instead of my daughter’s. Somehow you twist that into claiming that people like me must hate all trans people.
Just take people at their word. If someone says they think mtf athletes have an unfair advantage over biological girls, it means exactly what the words say, no more and no less.

I'm not worried about transgender people using the restroom or locker room that best suits them. I'm worried about those that actually intend harm, and it's not most transgender people. It's kinda like the argument about allowing girls with long nails playing soccer. I'm only worried about the little B's that use them as weapons, but am not going to stop a girl with 1-inch nails from playing. 99% of the girls with long nails play fairly.
I'm more worried about priests to tell you the truth. The percentage of them that have done nasty things is much higher than transgender people. Are you here to ensure they stop using locker rooms of either gender? You should be
We all have our prejudices. That why I don't like it when people label each other a "racist" or "transphobe". Everybody is a little bit racist no matter who you are. Everyone is a little bit bigoted.
That said, several of the comment's you've made have crossed the line and a more introspective person would examine what biases (which we all have) they are brining to the table as a result.

I will ask my Lord during this time of deep thought, prayer and meditation. I feel bad that my memes hurt you so much. I had no idea. Please forgive me. I will take it all to my God for three day fast. No Social Media, no media, no nothing, just me and nature and just water for 72 hours. I will end this fast Sunday and catch up on all that has happen. If I get through it before bedtime, expect a response from me. I am for anyone using a restroom for one person only and a lock. Locker room and showers for those with the same thing down there. If each shower has a lock and private, then no problem with transgender dressing. What about LA Fitness Soccer Dad & Ref? Can MTF walk in and use the showers and just walk around naked in the locker room. Thanks for the discussion. I want to work out a solution.

I'm actually surprised EOTL is being somewhat reasonable and reasoned on this point. I thought for sure he'd take the hard core left view: anyone at any time can declare themselves trans and play with the opposite gender and have free range of locker rooms, restrooms, and showers; athletic balance shouldn't be taken into account; they are functionally equivalent to biological men and women (e.g., men can have periods too) and you must say they are stunning and brave. I'm actually surprised no one here has done that, while on twitter for sure someone always does, maybe because we all (including EOTL) have a better appreciation of what goes into the intricacies of competitive sports.

I am not sure how to have a discussion on any topic if your starting assumption is that some people's opinions just don't matter.
It leads to a very tidy method of getting rid of any argument you don't like. You just have to say, "he is (racist/homophobic/misogynistic/whatever)", and you can ignore any and all counterpoints.

I could offer thoughts on bathrooms and locker rooms, but why bother? If my opinion isn't to the left of yours, you instantly dismiss it by saying "fascist" or "transphobe".

I have no phobias towards any human. I walk a straight line and you think it's ok for a grown man with hair all over his body, can just say the magic words, "I am women" and can now compete and beat on the girls, use girls only bathrooms, lockers and take showers with them. You need help daddy!

Bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, and dorm rooms are not as simple as just listening to each person’s stated identity. The other people who use that facility have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
For bathrooms, creation of single stall gender neutral bathrooms is a better solution if you can afford to create the space. It also helps out anyone whose clothes got bloody because their period comes at the wrong time.
For dorm rooms, you would need the approval of the other roommate. That’s not something you can just force on someone.
So, it depends a little on what you mean by living a normal life. If someone changes before games in a unisex bathroom, does that count as living a normal life? To me, it shows a basic understanding of the situation and the privacy needs of your teammates. But still normal.

Soccer has yellow card when doing naughty and a red when the naughty goes to dirty. I hear in some places their coming out with a White card. You get a White card when your nice and kind to the other team and the teams players. Help them up or just be nice. It helps with breaking the tie and will replace the PKs to decide the victor. It will be a social point scoring system from the pitch. Yellow Card=-5 social points. Red Card=-25 social points. White Card=+10 social points. The more + points=Winner of the match. No more dumb ties.

Politically I am a shade right of Bernie Sanders and yet no matter how many names you call me you will never convince me that we should allow biological males to compete (at a non-rec level) with biological females in sport. I don't care if it's 1 or 1,000,000 kids.
I'm also opposed to an 18 year old who identifies as 10 to compete on the U11 team. Call me ageist, I suppose.
