Artist Martin Dammann had intended to research soldiers' lives in the Third Reich, and ended up stumbling across a surprising number of amateur photographs of Nazi conscripts dressed as women. They show Nazi soldiers in everything from bras and dresses to home-made crop-tops and skirts created from blankets.
I'm talking about a target on the sports field. Your posts are long enough without all the injected drama. Have you never seen an opponent be targeted for their behavior? That's nature taking its course. If you don't belong there, or you're jeopardizing the safety/health of others, it'll be settled.
I'm not talking about bullying. I'm talking mostly about unintentional, inadvertent (although possibly ignorant) or non-repetitive incidents. "Sticks and stones" is not a perfect concept, but it's a good ideal to strive for. We've become far too thin-skinned as a culture where words are violence which is dangerous for free speech. Empathy works both ways, and you can't expect everyone to meet someone else only on someone else's terms.

Bullying isn't really a laughing matter for me. Have seen it happen to too many African American players. Not gonna laugh that off either and it's a poor excuse. What you said in dealing with a minor is reprehensible. If I saw it directed against any players the reds and yellows are coming out and I'd noted it and bring it up to the league so there would be team/club consequences. If you were a parent on my kids team, I'd raise holy hell. And if I were a spectator, I'd be prepared to defend that youth. Inexcusable. Nothing funny about it.
Ahhhhh....you know the American soldiers did the same, don't you, complete with the coconut bras? IIRC it's documented in a few old films including (here's a shocker) the Ronald Reagan film "This is the Army"? Did you see the Reagan film? Somehow I don't think this is going to be put into it. But it was a common practice in WW2, on the US side because it predates the jet age and it was difficult to get female performers up to the front (though there are records of them appearing in the UK)

Who said I'm defending them? I'm just pointing out it was a common practice on both sides of the war, with the exceptions, IIRC, of the Italians (those Roman Catholics!) and Japanese (who preferred to seize and rape actual local women). It's well documented and the Gipper (who I'm personally very fond of) even went along. It doesn't have the connotations you think it does.

Do more research on some of the German scientists and the MTFs of their time. I'm not here to talk about a few Navy sailors that dress up as girl. You can talk to espola about that. My buddy was on a ship for over a year and told me some insane stories of men who dressed like girls and were passed around.
