Sure my elder brother was a scrawny little thing who was mercilessly bullied until he took up jujitsu and in his sophomore year beat up a bully twice his size that tried to stuff him in a locker. But not all kids are that lucky. In my class there was this fat kid the jocks (with the encouragement of the coaches) would throw in the trash every day for a year. If my liquor store gets robbed and I say that "they robbed my store at gunpoint" and it was only one individual, that is not helpful to the cops, me or the general public.

As a kid I had really long hair, I was mis-gendered all the time. Guess what I survived just fine. Most mis-genderings are unintentional. It's a sad state of affairs if we have to confirm someone's gender before we engage with them.

I say lets call everyone by their first or last names. That's far more polite and personal, and it takes the same amount of time to ask someone their name as it does to ask them their pronouns. Problem solved.

The signature block thing is because there was a survey that said employers tend to flag such individuals as problem, mostly likely narcissistic individuals.
