As to the homeless issue, here's the bottom line. The main reason you see Newsom's reversal isn't because he's pandering....it's because up until the recent SCOTUS ruling it was illegal under the case law to make homelessness a crime. Now some people will always push the boundaries on that issue (like SF did when Xi visited) and Newsom is not the type to rock the boat by pushing that boundary, in part due to ideological issues and in part due to practical politics. But, don't underestimate the amount to which hands were tied on the issue due to the bad law.
Which takes us full circle...the only thing preventing them from having power over you and your daughter isn't because "they feel entitled to take it". It's whether they win.....and I have news for you....you may win this battle but overall you are losing the war...because everything has become existential and all it takes is one bad election or one bad court case. Just look at the UK, where it happened with less than even a majority. Democracy isn't your protector here. And then you will take a knee. And not only that, they'll make you enjoy it and believe it. As previously mentioned, there seems to be a trans-autism link. The number of mass shooters who are trans is actually not that large. The number of shooters who are male autism, however, is much larger. You don't have a trans problem here. You have an autism problem.
