How’s the 2023-24 season going?

excuses all around! Beach has a great program and great players all around.. perhaps if Sporting’s best player (who is out with an injury)would’ve played then that excuse would have merit. Giving credit to a group of girls who worked really hard during a league game and got the result goes a long way.

#11 from sporting is an amazing player.. but I’m talking 5 starters out, and 2 with ACLs from Beach. You can’t tell me to give credit when you just lost 3-0 to LA breakers bud beating a wounded Beach team with a weak schedule coming after that against Heat, Pats and Rebels for your next 3 matches. Pump the breaks bud and consider yourselves lucky.

2 ACL injuries on a U14 team...

Hmmm....

Again…give some credit dude!! They give you lemons, then make lemonade… every team recruits for that reason.. roster 18 or like other teams 20+ to plan against injuries or other reasons a player can’t make games.. there’s a lot of hate towards sporting around.. even if it means picking on teenage girls.. good job to you sir..

@Luis Andres this is how your fame started with a ‘simple question’ LOL

WARNING @RobbieNorwood watch what you ask on here... Ask the wrong question and you will get grilled. I came on here a few years ago with a simple question that turned into tidal wave of posts & comments. All I was looking for was finding the right environment for my DD and ideas on fixing the issues I saw on the old team. I've finally found the right environment. I've been quiet on the sidelines with not much to say anymore since she's quite challenged now and is no longer the best player on the team... Having her hang is enough for me now as it will only get harder from here on out.

When you get 22 "all-stars" together on one team, some of the stars will fall hard and get no play time and when that happens, mommy and or daddy get really pissed off. I've been there before and it's not fun to see your baby sitting on da bench all game, especially when you're forking out $10K-$15K a year to chase a medal:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p This is the time when college coaches start inquiring with the Docs who the best of the best all-stars are. Grades, SAT score ability, ability to take tests, ability to listen and obey, do homework every freaking night, stay home and do not go out and have fun and play with your friends. When you go to the first game of this new all-star team to watch your player play and she does not play, oh boy, watch the F out man. Dad is pissed. All-Star is sad, pissed, crying a little and now questioning if she is even a good player anymore. This is not the time to teach kids how to ride the pine and have mom and dad pay $15K to watch their daughter sit and cheer. All-Stars do not like to sit, FYI!!!
Do they have 22?

I wouldn‘t underestimate teams like Pats, Rebels. A lot can change with all the player movement. The underdogs might bite you in the a$$

You’re right. Congrats.

I’ve been noticing. Also very familiar with Pats and who they’ve recruited. They’re on the up and up. Sporting scrimmaged Pats in the summer and it was a competitive match.

But to my point, these teams are still mid to low tier in the Southwest. When someone comes out saying “excuses”, well 5 of your starters being out is more of an explanation not a reason to go pounding your chest saying you’re a better team and try to troll on here.

Even if Beach ECNL have all these injuries, you would think they could easily pull top talent from their RL team to stay competitive. RL team is ranked #1 in Mojave RL and is ranked the same as Sporting ECNL is. injuries alone doesnt quite add up.
