G2010 - How’s the 2022 season going?

Based on the early chatter, Koge has been dealt stiff competition! I’m familiar with the 2007s and 2008s Koge but not sure if this team can handle that gauntlet of heat
Count youselves lucky. Crossfire Premier plays Surf once and Eagles Twice.

They’ve got a few mistakes like that. MVLA and San Juan have doubles, too.

SLG (24) has a tough draw against both Eagles (2) and Surf (1)

Koge playing against some stiff competition: vs SUSA (10), MVLA (3), and Real Colorado (12)

Blues has a pass that weekend vs Kansas City Athletics (113), Boise Thorns (155) and FC Wisconsin (247). Probably could save the trip and play local flight 1 teams and get the same competition as those teams.

Surf finished the weekend against Crossfire (294) and Mustangs (35)

Eagles slatted to play Crossfire twice that weekend.

seems like this showcase is not well organized. With teams coming from all over the country, no team should play each other twice. Shame on Ecnl.

Are there any individual matchups that’s worth looking at for this age group?

Looks like schedule is fixed. No duplicates I can find.

Real CO now plays both Eagles and Texans. Should be a couple of good games.

Blues got Boise Thorns and a couple of Kansas teams. Seems a bit of a rotten draw for them.

Looks like all other years are still listed in the standings, so it's only 2010. Whatever it is, it appears to be a specific team thing and not a club-wide thing.
I wonder if the Blues 2010 team opted not to go to Champions league so ECNL took them off the standings?

Kind of makes sense. Why travel to play the same level of teams you play locally. Also nobody is going to be recruiting an 11-12 year old.

If they were listed Sharks would likely not be going.

Champions League is already local for Blues. The first rounds will be in San Diego. I doubt Blues would skip the post season because Del Mar is too far to drive.

It's something else. AZ Arsenal is also missing.

Heads would explode if it comes out that Blues + Arsenal are considering leaving ECNL for something else.

For Arsenal it makes sense you could potentially play more local AZ games + not get blown out week after week.

Not sure what the upside is for Blues.

Let me tell you what the upside is for the Southern California Blues. NO MORE TRAVEL!! I know one of the Founders and I can say they never wanted to do the travel leagues. The Grooming Develop Academy (GDA) forced all the girls to travel across the country to beat up on teams and if they said no, they were kicked out, especially the ones who went to public school. Blues was 100% a no and even tried to persuade the fools at the top of GDA that it was not healthy for the kids and super expensive for the average family in Socal at big meetings. They were told to fu*k off and pay up or lose their business.

If SW worked like other ECNL conferences around the country...looks like Sharks would be in based on ppg.

Any idea why there are two sub leagues?
