I thought ECNL rules only allow players movement after May 1st ?
If the coach/club gives permission, the player can practice/tryout/be released to join another ECNL club.

Blues ‘10s are off the ECNL standings. What’s up?
I wonder if the Blues 2010 team opted not to go to Champions league so ECNL took them off the standings?Looks like all other years are still listed in the standings, so it's only 2010. Whatever it is, it appears to be a specific team thing and not a club-wide thing.

Kind of makes sense. Why travel to play the same level of teams you play locally. Also nobody is going to be recruiting an 11-12 year old.
If they were listed Sharks would likely not be going.
Heads would explode if it comes out that Blues + Arsenal are considering leaving ECNL for something else.Champions League is already local for Blues. The first rounds will be in San Diego. I doubt Blues would skip the post season because Del Mar is too far to drive.
It's something else. AZ Arsenal is also missing.
Let me tell you what the upside is for the Southern California Blues. NO MORE TRAVEL!! I know one of the Founders and I can say they never wanted to do the travel leagues. The Grooming Develop Academy (GDA) forced all the girls to travel across the country to beat up on teams and if they said no, they were kicked out, especially the ones who went to public school. Blues was 100% a no and even tried to persuade the fools at the top of GDA that it was not healthy for the kids and super expensive for the average family in Socal at big meetings. They were told to fu*k off and pay up or lose their business.Heads would explode if it comes out that Blues + Arsenal are considering leaving ECNL for something else.
For Arsenal it makes sense you could potentially play more local AZ games + not get blown out week after week.
Not sure what the upside is for Blues.
If SW worked like other ECNL conferences around the country...looks like Sharks would be in based on ppg.I wonder if the Blues 2010 team opted not to go to Champions league so ECNL took them off the standings?

I'm with the thought process. Traveling to play teams that are exactly the same or worse than teams 30 minutes to an hour away makes no sense.Let me tell you what the upside is for the Southern California Blues. NO MORE TRAVEL!! GA allows players to play HS now. They realized the mistake DA made and arent following in their footsteps. However the GA schedule does make playing in HS nearly impossible. (Which is probabaly the plan)
I believe California HS Soccer season is November to March. How so? From what I saw, the GA schedule broke for the high school season, and resumes this month.
Sporting California 2 - 0 over LA BreakersPredictions for State Cup semifinals and final?
Blues win out, but it will be closeBased on the ECNL standings I'd go LA Breakers over Sporting 2-1, and then LAFC over Blues 2011 2-1
LAFC to win it all in the final 1-0
Question… why are ECNL teams in State Cup? I thought Nationals were for ECNL. That’s a tricky situation.
