Pats has a strong cb and talented mid. Legends has a great striker and recently added a strong wing. Slammers Ecnl has a very talented defender and keeper. Koge has strong mids, a strong cb, two strong outside backs and a relentless striker. Koge and LA breakers have the top keepers of the age group.

TFA B2010s center mid should be looked at as well as Slammers E64 #25 and #9. Legends ECNL #13

I've heard great things about the talented TFA player. OM and AT went through the TFA way and look at them both. I have been impressed with OM and AT is amazing. My daughter had the honor and privilege battling these two greats day after day at the Ranch. They made the first list, as did Shaw and a few can't miss talents. It's the rest of the List that the Scout needs help from the parents.

Makes sense why she may have been missed since she plays with boys. I don't think it's because some DOC had sour grapes @crush that would be ridiculous but knowing the club politics of Socal I would not be surprised. I don't think US soccer girl scouts are paying any attention to a boy's league, so in that case it would be up to the TFA director to recommend her to the USYNT ID camp. If it's that midfileder I'm thinking of that used to play for Blues then I would also recommend her like @TeamDadJokes is doing.

Of course we would do our own due diligence. For example, we recently discovered a key prospect that was not in any of the lists. She was not part of the last USA ID center camp and was not associated with PDP or ODP. As scouts, we aim to explore every avenue. We initially rely heavily on club directors for initial player suggestions. While we can't officially act on recommendations from parents, they can point us towards overlooked talent. For example, If a parent's suggestion catches my eye, I'd reach out to that player's club director for more details. Hope that clarifies things!

Yeah totally -- I was just asking about ODP and PDP specifically. I think there was a time when those were valued, but I don't think they're as important today given we have highly competitive leagues with pretty wide spread access. It's unclear to me if top coaches are even bothering with those programs anymore -- but I really haven't spent much time looking. Just curious....

This is freaking amazing that our Scouts are now taking suggestions from parents. Do you guys have an email address? Suggestions@soccerscoutusa.org? Something like that? Great stuff and I think it shows humility from the scouting departments to take suggestions from the parents. We know the true talent of players.

Hi, I’m glad you’re looking for the best players in the 2010 age group. I have a daughter who plays soccer at the highest level in the ECNL and we recently moved from New Jersey to Southern California. She is looking for a team and I need advice to get her the most exposure and maximize her skills and passion for the game.

My DD is a talented and versatile player who can play as a forward, midfielder, or defender. She has been playing soccer since she was four years old and has always loved the game. She has played up in age group for several clubs inthe north east, such as PDA, STA, and Penn Fusion, and has won many tournaments and awards. She was also selected for the US Youth Soccer ODP regional pool and participated in several national camps and events.

My DD is a fast, strong, and skillful player who can dribble, pass, shoot, and defend well. She has a great vision and awareness of the game and can create chances for herself and her teammates. She is also a leader on and off the field, always encouraging and motivating her peers. She is very dedicated and hardworking, always looking to improve her game and learn from her coaches and mentors.

My DD is currently looking for a new club in Southern California that can offer her the best opportunities to develop her potential and showcase her talent. She is interested in joining a team that plays at a high level, has a positive and competitive environment, and has a good reputation and track record. She is open to any suggestions or recommendations from scouts, coaches, or other soccer experts.

From the couple games I’ve had the privilege to watch this Blues team play at the ECNL showcase, I think @Fieldsofgold may be referring to last year’s team. This year’s team is definitely struggling to create offense and is struggling vs teams they would have dominated last year. It’s early in the season though so AR has a chance to turn things around. But if they don’t then we may see a team like Pats take that third spot & go to playoffs instead of Blues.
