Some talking heads are claiming that the National Archives issue is a civil and not criminal matter, is that true? (and that it was the obstruction and lying that are the criminal matters).

No, I'm asking you why Trump should be in trouble for taking classified documents as a President (with privilege) but Biden gets a pass for taking them as a senator (without privilege) and as a VP (without privilege) and saying "I'm cooperating" all 6 times they learned he wasn't cooperating. Do rules now only apply to republicans?

If Trump broke the rules, so be it. He's not a worthless, piece of shit career politician like Biden. If he broke them deliberately, so be it. Let justice take its course. If t had followed the same path as Pence and Biden and cooperated with the authorities and followed the advice of his lawyers, it wouldn't be any matter.

The obstruction and lying are certainly criminal offenses, but t was charged under the Espionage Act Section 793(e),

Trump :) will get to mount his defense in court. Biden :) will too if it gets there. For Biden, I have no issue with him being prosecuted and I 100% think/agree that it should be investigated thoroughly and with as much vigor as the Trump one.

I basically said that before though, so not sure why you are still so wound up about it - relax, its Friday, long weekend with Juneteenth (;)) to celebrate on Monday, Federal holiday that it is. [disclaimer, I am not a Federal employee :confused:]

Biden didn't cooperate. You don't find more documents, over and over and over again, and say he cooperated.

I see what you underlined, but are there claims he shared it with any foreign entities, or individuals/entities adverse to the US? My best guess is he kept them as trophies.
