I'm not surprised though. Election interference with the misinformation about Hunter's laptop, the Hamilton 68 hoax, political prosecutions, etc. - and Trump was still leading in the polls. What other choice did the elites have? They allowed Antifa to attempt to do what they haven't been able to do - get rid of Trump. If the FBI spent time investigating Antifa - which it claims isn't even an organization instead of investigating Catholics for ... being Catholic (see below) - this assassination attempt could have been avoided. However, there's no good reason to believe those in power were the least bit interested in avoiding this.
