You are flat out wrong. You are either emotional or ignorant. Just say parents sometimes ruin a team. It's always the parents that ruin a team. Always.
Comments like Rainbow is why marriages don't last. "You never take out the trash. You never say, "I love you." "You always go out with your friends." "It's all your fault parents." "It's crush's fault that his kid was retaliated against."You are flat out wrong. You are either emotional or ignorant. Just say parents sometimes ruin a team.
That’s a super emotional statement, and it sounds like a lazy excuse. Blaming parents for ruining a team every time isn’t accurate. Teams fall apart for all kinds of reasons such as coaching, player issues, leadership, and yeah, sometimes parents. Saying it’s always the parents is just oversimplifying a bigger picture. It's always the parents that ruin a team. Always.
Fair points Luis and not emotional like our little Rainbow Unicorn that pops in from time to time. Dude has been after me since I joined the forum, when I raised concerns about Docs banging moms for play time. That's not good team chemistry and if and when a coach goes after mom for her dd play time, well, that team will break up because of the cancer caused. I guess it's the mom's fault to go all Miss Gump for her dd wellbeing. I would love to pull the mask off Rainbows dome someday. That’s a super emotional statement, and it sounds like a lazy excuse. The number one priority for every parent with a DD or DS in any sports is simple: My kid’s development comes first. Every decision a parent makes is based on that and stems from that. Whether it affects the team or not isn’t the parent’s problem. Managing that dynamic is the responsibility of the club director and coach.
The more I think about this joker's comments, the more it hit me. I think the men have been ruining the teams for the girls, but not always. Rich dad who cheats and pays extra to make the A Team or male leaders telling little girls their dreams are only pipe dreams. It's always the parents that ruin a team. Always.
BET!!!!Looks like the dominance that Blues 2012 team once had is now over. 11v11 is a different beast. As girls mature & defenses improve, games become tighter and tighter, especially at the highest levels. Players that were once dominant because of their athleticism and size are no longer that relevant anymore if they never worked on the fundamentals of tactical and technical passing.
Never bet against The Blues.BET!!!!
Blues just finally did the right thing and didn't replace the coaches of these teams like they did the 2009's and 2010's right before they went into ECNL.Blues coaching has proven to be superior... (or the 'rival' coaches are just incompetent - probably both are true)
I know Blues have beat surf head to head more often than not but I would take Alex Walker over any coach in Southern CA. His teams play soccer the way IMO it should be played. Simple, TEAM soccer. The Blues obviously have good players but IMO they play high press with the intention of getting the ball to their striker who is the best player in socal. Without her they are decent but not great. That isn't coaching, thats a player making a coach look good, IMO. Alex is a great teacher, passionate, and his teams play with purpose and not reaction.Blues coaching has proven to be superior... Sounds like how Blues 2008 would play... and look at them now. This strategy of high press/kick it up to your striker doesn't work in the long run.I know Blues have beat surf head to head more often than not but I would take Alex Walker over any coach in Southern CA. You can throw CB from Slammers HB Koge into that mix too.Sounds like how Blues 2008 would play... and look at them now. This strategy of high press/kick it up to your striker doesn't work in the long run.
This is just the way all the Blues teams play. Like it or not but AR was the only one who tried to get away from that strategy.Sounds like how Blues 2008 would play... and look at them now. This strategy of high press/kick it up to your striker doesn't work in the long run.
He also would try and recruit those players that fit his system of play but in the end I think he found it hard when he returned to Blues. This is just the way all the Blues teams play. Like it or not but AR was the only one who tried to get away from that strategy.
The way surf play is just so beautiful to watch, my daughter faces them 2-3 times a year, and also gets to play with a lot of the girls(la masia, ballers elite) also gets to play with some of the blues girls as well, but yes fifi is a stud for sure. Playoffs will be funJust got back from watching the G2012 final. Blues vs. Surf. Surf won 1-0. Outside of a great header that hit the crossbar by the Blues striker, Surf absolutely dominated the game. 80% plus possession and significantly more shots on goal. Blues high pressed the second half to try and turn it into chaos in hopes of the their striker capitalizing on a mistake but surf outplayed them in the end. Fun game to watch. Surf is the better team. Blues striker is an amazing athlete for that age.
