5.56 of course!! Though I would like to get something built in .308 at some point, my funds are directed towards other aspects.
I have a stripped lower just sitting there waiting to be built. Thought about a pistol caliber rifle...but it'll be awhile before I do.
My other option for .308 would be bolt action since I don't have a stripped lower for that caliber. Or a Ruger SFAR and all I need to
add is a good scope and a few other mods and be done with it.
Do you Frankenstein build or have a particular complete upper brand of choice?
My last complete upper was BCM and I love it.

My 5.56 just sits in my safe, not very into it. Not really into 5.56 to be honest, it has its place just not really for me. Thinking a 12.5 .300 blk pistol would be fun but that might sit there after a couple range days also. Ive heard nothing but good things about the ruger sfar, exceptions being if you happen to be next to someone firing it but it's a high power rifle cartridge so the concussion is to be expected and their support of the atf. I use bcm uppers now. Used to use daniel defense but dont agree with them helping the atf either.
