It isn’t like most coaches have the spine to say “we decided to put a MTF trans athlete on the team”. They just do it, and hope no one is willing to raise a stink.
That’s dishonest. If you really believe the trans players are girls, then own it. Say “this is Samantha. She is a trans girl, and she’ll be joining our team.”
Then deal with the consequences when people quit because you just gave Susan’s spot to a boy.
