I don't want criminals to have easy access to guns. You want law abiding citizens to not have easy access. You're never going to get guns off the streets. But your solution is to make it harder for me to have one, make it harder for cops to do their jobs and have a giant pity party for real criminals. Maybe if you stopped bashing cops and letting criminals out early, law abiding citizens wouldn't need to buy so many guns.

Virtually none of the worst mass shooters were legally prohibited from having guns dumb shit. You want them to have guns until they’ve already blown away the elementary school. And you want those who aren’t legally allowed to have easy access to obtain them illegally.

BTW, it is easier for cops to do their jobs when they don’t have to worry about AR-15s. Just ask the coward little piggie cops in Uvalde. How about the Sandy Hook coppers who waited six minutes, and five minutes after the last shot was fired, to enter the school. How about the Orlando PD, about 100 of whom sat around and did nothing for hours while that mass shooter killed 49 people?
