Don’t see any MSM on this. Could you imagine the coverage if the Trump campaign was involved with the Head of Strategy and Engagement for LendUp who was taking advantage of financially distressed people? Then there’s Harris blatantly talking out of both sides of her mouth regarding integration. She has no “positions” because she has no real convictions. She’s just a less articulate version of Newsome.
DEI Consultant Caught In Payday Lending Scandal Behind Kamala Harris’ Race-Segregationist Campaign

The most important moment in Vice President Kamala Harris’ career came when she spoke out against racial segregation. In a 2020 presidential primary debate, Harris attacked President Joe Biden for opposing court-ordered busing to racially integrate schools.
“I'm going to now direct this at Vice President Biden,” Harris said. “To hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and careers on the segregation of race in this country. You also worked with them to oppose busing. You know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools.”
But it turned out that Harris had the exact same position as Biden on busing. A few days later, she admitted at an event in Iowa that she was opposed to mandating it. Harris called busing “one tool among many” to desegregate schools. In other words, Harris’ whole attack on Biden was based on a lie.
The media and Biden gave her a pass. The Washington Post wrote that “Harris’ views” had “come under criticism.” And Biden went on to select her as his Vice Presidential candidate.
But what was clear from both Harris’ original attack on Biden and from her follow-up was that Harris supported racial integration. Why, then, are the volunteers and supporters of Kamala Harris’ campaign being asked to segregate by race?
Progressive Democrat Matt Stoller wrote on X yesterday, “I got randomly put into white guys for Harris WhatsApp group and then was almost immediately thrown out after I said a whites-only group was nuts. This is apparently common now.”
Indeed, it is. A “White Women For Kamala Harris” Zoom call had 200,000 white women on it and raised millions of dollars for her campaign. There were so many people on it that Zoom crashed multiple times.
The women said they were inspired by “Black Women for Kamala Harris” Zoom, which had 40,000 black women on it. There were also race and sex-based Zoom calls for South Asian women, white men, and black men.
Now, you might say, “What’s the big deal if people want to organize politically according to their race and sex?” The answer is a lot.
The idea behind racially segregating Zoom calls is similar in some ways to the bad racist idea that was behind racially segregating schools, which is that black and white people are so different from each other that we should be separated.
But it’s different because today’s racial segregation is self-segregation, not imposed by the government, and is more about “safe spaces” for people of color. The white spaces are usually so participants can share feelings of guilt and hold each other “accountable” for “white privilege.”
We spent hundreds of years trying to get over bad racialist ideas. Getting beyond the idea that there are inherent differences betwee
n black and white people is literally the heart of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream speech,” when he talks of a future where white and black children will play together, not just because the playgrounds have been integrated, but also because race no longer matters.
And Harris herself constantly emphasizes King’s message that we should not be divided by race. Here she is just last year: “Why do you think we have so much more in common than what separates us? Well, I'll tell you. I know it based on every personal and professional experience I've had.”
So what changed with Kamala Harris? Why did she go from demanding racial integration of schools to racially segregating her campaign?
The media has spent the last 48 hours suggesting that the race and sex segregated Zoom calls for Harris’ campaign were grassroots and organic. They weren’t. They were the creation of a high-powered Democratic Party strategist and former lawyer for the NAACP named Jotaka Eaddy, who created a group called “Win With Black Women” to promote Harris.
“We don’t necessarily call ourselves the KHive,” Eaddy told the New York Times last week, “but, let me tell you, we are all about Vice President Kamala Harris.”
Eaddy is the same person who wrote the open letter to Biden in 2020, demanding that he pick a black woman as his vice president.
“Jotaka Eaddy, who helped pen the Aug. 5letter calling on Biden to pick a Black woman,” reported Politico, “said an African American running mate would also help with progressive whites and young and millennial voters.”
And Eaddy appears to have played a crucial role in making sure Biden anointed Harris, which closed the door to Democratic delegates choosing a candidate at the Democratic National Convention in August.
“Abandoning Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, for me personally, it feels like it’s abandoning my own freedoms,” Eaddy told the New York Times in early July. “I am not willing to do that.”
And Politico reported yesterday that Eaddy’s “Win With Black Women” group was “nervous that Harris would be facing competition” and “ferociously pushed back on the idea of an open primary in the wake of Biden’s announcement. Organizers urged attendees that there was ‘no time to waste’ and that they must tout Harris’ record.”
I reached out to Ms. Eaddy to ask if she is being paid directly by the Harris campaign or by someone else, and I have not heard back.
It is notable that Eaddy was head of “strategy and engagement” for a payday lender called LendUp, which the US government’s Consumer Financial Protection Board shut down earlier this year for deceptive marketing after previously finding the organization $100,000.
LendUp had marketed itself as an alternativeto payday lenders, which famously exploit the poor and vulnerable by charging high fees. But it was effectively doing the same thing but being more dishonest about it. “After multiple enforcement actions,” wrote the Board, “LendUp was ordered to stop making new loans.” The government proceeded to distribute LendUp’s $40 million in assets to the “118,101 consumers who were deceived by LendUp Loans.”
Eaddy oversaw LendUp’s lobbying of regulators. In 2017, she said, “I build relationships, engage on policy, and advance LendUp’s mission among a wide range of elected officials, policymakers, and partners.”
She’s now apparently doing the same for Harris. Yesterday she told Politico, “We develop message, we develop strategy.”
Eaddy’s message now is the same as it was in 2020, which is that opposition to Harris is rooted in racism and sexism. “We will speak out loudly and clearly against the racist and sexist attacks that have come to the black women that have been named in the vice presidential election pick process,” said Eaddy
Eaddy is more a symptom than the cause of the Woke racialism that has overtaken the Democratic Party over the last decade. Her Zoom calls wouldn’t have worked were white women not obsessed with playing subservient rescuers taking orders from black women.
As soccer star Megan Rapinoe said on the “White Women for Kamala Harris” Zoom, “This is our opportunity to show up not only for ourselves but for black women. They've given us the whole playbook… So let's just follow their lead.”
As for Harris, she appears to be happy to promote racial integration publicly, including attacking her enemies, even as she privately organizes her campaign along racialist lines.
