I voted for Kevin Faulconer when I lived in the city. I liked Ike. I was going to vote for John McCain in 2008 until he picked that woman as a running mate. My grandmother was a Republican local politician who won her elections 16 years in a row. My grandfather served a term in the Vermont State Legislature as a Republican.
Look at that... common ground. Faulconer had my attention when he ran. However, Gavin Newsom is handsome. Democrats love handsome. It's the most important thing to them.
