That's how companies work. Without Musk there is no SpaceX, and without SpaceX those astronauts couldn't return until Boeing fixed its spacecraft, which who knows how long that would have taken.

You can misinterpret and run with the narrative you feel best suits your needs all you want, doesn’t change anything. I guess that much like you would never give Biden credit for anything and you will find any chink in the armor to claim the whole effort was a disaster . . . Trump is failing. Musk/DOGE is dismantling America’s excellence and the world is turning away from the US. But I’m sure you see it quite differently.

I'm not so sure about the "he writes checks" part of that. M, like Joe Walsh before him has accountants to pay for it all. After all, life has been very good to him.

After 7 long years, we all have some things to learn about the truth.
