I still can't fathom how they do it. The whole return and splash down didn't look real, and then the dolphins show up! You can't even catch a flight that's on-time, but you can land a space craft the exact minute you've been quoting for days. Not to be sappy, but it makes you proud to be an American. (I had flashbacks when I was a kid of the Apollo landings)

What kind of Nazi, asshole rescues astronauts and a cosmonaut from space?

The dolphins showing up was classic. I believe were watching some sort of scripted movie. Some is real and some has acting. The hard part is trying to figure out which is which. Hopefully the good guys are the directors in this crime thriller. Reminds me of a funny scene from Funny Farm. Andy (Chevy Chase) and his wife are getting a divorce and need to sell the house quickly. The whole town is in on it as well.

Is the Musk/space x/US government relationship beyond your scope? His company is paid billions each year. His company, meaning other people, design, build and operate these systems. Musk may have a good understanding of the inner workings but doesn’t personally design, build or operate these systems. He writes checks. Thank God there are still rational adults around the space program.
One can hate and do business at the same time. I mean really these were all white people and one who hitched a ride down was even Russian! I’m sure that made it even more important for this administration!

That's how companies work. Without Musk there is no SpaceX, and without SpaceX those astronauts couldn't return until Boeing fixed its spacecraft, which who knows how long that would have taken.

Hate Musk for DOGE, but you're a partisan hack for not giving credit to Musk for playing a major role in the 'nauts return. Keep up the Musk hate narrative, it's failing miserably for liberals.
