NeoconsReagan tried that, can't be done I thought. I don't understand why it would be needed, with a GOP controlled Congress, am I missing something?
When has Israel offered to abide by a two state solution? We will never agree on this topic. An opinion piece, but lays out the fact that Palestinian's have no interest in a two state solution, despite Israeli offers to do so. I think your position is the "alternate reality" that this article speaks to.

Clinton, Arafat, and a Century of Rejection
Ever since the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7, 2023, Bill and Hillary Clinton have been unable to hide their frustration with progressives’ retreat into an alternate reality, one in whichwww.commentary.org
Flood the zone to get through the agenda. Project 2025 in full effect, featuring some of the main players in it’s conception. No doubt some of this is performative, or PR. Some of the things he is doing I don't think the majority would deem as helpful or productive, but yet its not being hidden. Is their crazier stuff that's being hidden, possibly, but doubtful since our bureaucracy is a majority left leaning, his administration is being watched more closely than any other. It's going to be very difficult to hide anything.
I don't think either side should be reflexive (good or bad) to Trumps actions, skepticism is healthy.
Giving Netanyahu an easy target to prop himself up against. That’s why he’s funded them.No mention of the right of return of Palestinian refugees which Israel wouldn't allow (5000 over 5 years isn't serious), or that Palestine had to be a demilitarized "state" with Israeli military installations in key parts. It was not a sovereign state, which apparently was Arafat's problem.
That said, I do think that Arafat should have accepted it and that the Palestinian people would have bitten your hand off for either the 2000 or 2008 agreements, with the latter very unlikely to have gone through in any case.
It is a pity more effort hasn't been put into electoral changes in both Gaza and the West Bank rather than propping up ($$$) both Hamas and the PLA. That's the path IMO, giving people something to live for rather than nothing to live for.

When one side is hell-bent on the other’s destruction, I’m not sure there is a peaceful solution. Definitely not eager to “occupy” Gaza.Formally, 1947, 2000, 2007, but has offered talks on many other occasions. Gaza is just a place where the bankers and assholes can have endless wars, and no one wins. They never end because if they did, no more money. The Tel A Vision Programs our brain by their programming. When one side is hell-bent on the other’s destruction, I’m not sure there is a peaceful solution. Definitely not eager to “occupy” Gaza.
It's Gazalago now. When one side is hell-bent on the other’s destruction, I’m not sure there is a peaceful solution. Definitely not eager to “occupy” Gaza.
Ha! This one may be a bit tougher to turn around. It's Gazalago now.
To his credit he is the only one talking about rebuilding Gaza, but could you imagine the security required to rebuild it, let alone the contractors. No other country is going to take in the Palestinians, even temporarily.Ha! This one may be a bit tougher to turn around.
