Maybe I'm too cheap to pay for ChatGPT, so I don't see the sourcing.
I just asked if Newsom is a fiscally responsible Governor? It was charitable to say the least, and blatantly wrong on Covid being a cause of the deficits. So no thank you on ChatGPT being a reliable source. If you want reliable print and online news I'd suggest the Wall Street Journal, and if you want cable news that presents both sides I'd suggest NewsNation. This is just the tip of the iceberg that I look at for news and I try to rely on multiple sources and first hand accounts (but zero social media), although sometimes I'm lazy and go with a good story if it confirms my bias.

Just like your ChatGPT response confirmed your bias.

When asked to indicate support or lack of support for a variety of political statements, ChatGPT's responses tend to replicate a liberal point of view, albeit with logical inconsistencies, emblematizing the issue of bias embedded in AI systems through their datasets and human trainers.
