Fires of 2025

Maybe I'm too cheap to pay for ChatGPT, so I don't see the sourcing.

I just asked if Newsom is a fiscally responsible Governor? It was charitable to say the least, and blatantly wrong on Covid being a cause of the deficits. So no thank you on ChatGPT being a reliable source. If you want reliable print and online news I'd suggest the Wall Street Journal, and if you want cable news that presents both sides I'd suggest NewsNation. This is just the tip of the iceberg that I look at for news and I try to rely on multiple sources and first hand accounts (but zero social media), although sometimes I'm lazy and go with a good story if it confirms my bias. 🤣 Just like your ChatGPT response confirmed your bias.

"Using this framework, for certain combinations of issues and prompts, in our experiments ChatGPT provided consistent—and often left-leaning—answers on political/social issues."
As with previously meaningful words such as "liberal" and "progressive", the left has degraded the meaning so much that even those who used to identify as such avoid the label. One of their latest soiled words is "expert". The left has started the process of moving on by replacing "expert" with "ChatGPT". It's a simple substitution for simple minds.

Being 5 minutes away from the Hurst fire and 20 mins away from the other ones, I can tell you all that this was not caused by global warming or power transmission lines falling lol. DWP and Edison can shut off power in areas of danger whenever they want or feel the need for. In fact 95% of all fires that start in CA are due to Arson. There are numerous videos surfacing online of Arson being the cause of the fire and the Santa Ana winds are there to help them spread. Homeless people and other trouble makers are most likely the cause... Empty reservoirs and empty fire hydrants. We need to take a closer look at our elected leaders in charge of making all these decisions related to fire prevention and maintenance. But I guarantee you if 1 fire was started naturally the rest were arson. Multiple fires in the past couple days were started in the SFV area that have been quickly extinguished before getting out of control.
The information I heard from a local source in the Palisades fire was that the original New Years Eve fire was started by local teenagers with good connections. So once that fire was subdued the hush-hush was laid down. Then the winds reignited a hidden hot spot. We may still learn the identity of the power adjacent youths.
Maybe just local hubbub, but that fire did start in a known “party” spot.

Please give us your "local source" so the forum community can give you acuate notes. Right now, it's just what Husker Du's local source and 99% of your sources over the last 7 years has been horse shit. The information you get from your locals is shit du du is what I mean. I mean really, you're going to come in here and not give your news source. Pony up the sauce or shut the fuck up with your nonsense. Blame it on the local teenagers is fuckin horrible you asshate, what a total dick head you have become. Blames it on the locals. This is the same guy that said the kids that go missing are runaways.

You didn't like ChatGPTs response? It didn't parallel your own narrative? Ahhh it must be crap then!

To be clear, many of the folks that post in The Kitchen have opinions based on inaccurate/missing data or just wholesale misinformation. Like most things in life, there's nuance to everything. ChatGPT does an excellent job extracting the nuance. But yeah, this is why The Kitchen exists. By all means....continue the berating of one another and savor the misinformation.

This meme post is not from one of the locals in LA or crush, but from a consumer watch dog group (see below for my sauce). I'm still hurt by watty saying that most of my posts are untruths. Dude, if you publicly say, "crush is right most of the time and means well and is 100% for America and saving all kids, then we can start the healing process with this group. I forgive everyone because I forgive myself first.

No, it made false claims about reasons for the deficit. Also I'm a "proof is in the pudding" person. California went from huge surplus to huge deficit under his leadership. You want to "nuance" the shit out of something, aka rationalize, things that are blatantly obvious to everyone else. It's actually comical that you rely on ChatGPT for news. That's only slightly better than relying on social media, or possibly the same thing.

Just FYI the Cato Institute (a libertarian organization) gave Newsom a D on fiscal policy and US News and World Report (a left leaning publication) ranked California 42 of 50 states in fiscal responsibility.

I've seen a number of reports on this theory. And I've heard a variety of opinions from fire "experts" of the plausibility of this happening. Apparently roots can smolder for a while. I wouldn't dismiss it as a cause.

Fireworks?
Fire Marshall Bill says you and Husker Du are full of shit with your local source of lies, saying local teens playing with fireworks started all this chaos. Back up your false news loser or stop posting bullshit. My wife's cousin lost her house in these fires. This is not the place to start your lies, trust me. Back up the claims that local Alta Dena teens started the fire, and I will look into what my cousin and her husband have to say about two dudes busted with blow torches. Military aged men not from ou country and certainly not local teens in the rea walking around with blow torches. Keep it up losers.

News with crush is full of crush's truths. I'm not here to tell you what to believe. I'm all about showing you with meme's and emotion to detail. Buckle up watty and get ready for so much news on the Pedo front your head will almost spin off.

Chat GPT told me global warming doesn't affect party spots so we can rule that out this time.

Oh wait, I'm posting in "The Kitchen". Probably wrong.

The Cato Institute preaches the philosophy of Alisa Zinovyevna Rosenbaum (Ayn Rand, the "Mark Twain" of Objectivism). A strict adherent should be opposed to unnecessary expenses such as public wildfire control -- let every man defend his own property.

Roots, fence posts, cow pies -- and then a strong wind. It's like the Boy Scouts all over again.

Experiment: turn on every water faucet, spigot, washing machine, dish washer all at once. Now imagine everyone within a square mile doing the same.

A nasty trick in high school was to flush all the toilets while the team was in the showers after a basketball game.

Hey you two. I hope you're having a wonderful evening. Can I please get the source for the local kids starting the fires. Thanks.
