How does Trump torpedo a bill when he's not in office? Are you referring to Biden telling the entire planet they won't be deported if they come here illegally? Then spending the next 3.5 years saying we don't have a border crisis? Then blaming republicans for not supporting Biden's, "I'm running for reelection in 6 months and need to pretend I didn't let 10M+ illegals into our country" campaign? Seriously? Trump also gave a tax cut to the middle class. 2nd, you can't keep going after wealthy business people, saying they need to "pay their fair share" and ignore the fact that the wealthiest 1% in this country already pay 40% of the nation's tax burden. I'd rather have a president give our tax dollars back to Americans instead of illegal aliens, college deadbeats and wars we're not in.

Example A is Harry Reid getting rid of the filibuster for judicial nominations and other appointments. That back fired big time now with 6-3 conservative majority. Before that it was the Borking of Bork.
The Dems are now whining about the immunity decision yesterday. It benefits them as much as it does Republicans and hopefully it will put an end to any potential tit-for-tat lawfare. They're just apoplectic because it helps Trump. Biden should breath of a sigh of relief because it prevents the families that lost loved ones to illegal aliens from suing him because he failed to enforce the law on the border (not to mention other potential lawsuits and prosecutions).

Democrats are mostly law abiding, still seeking to reach a bipartisan consensus on everything while playing by the rules (what you might call pussies). So no, dems, Biden in particular, won’t seek to take advantage of the new freedom to be an authoritarian. I know, I know, some will come in hair on fire claiming Dems are already using the law to attack their enemies. Thing is after a lifetime of skirting the law, breaking the law in many cases, ignoring the norms of a civil society, conning, stiffing people out of millions, cheating on every wife, after all that and more, how much are you willing to ignore? To excuse? To minimize? Or is it now or has it always been “tough shit! He can do what he wants we don’t care!”
Politics have become a zero-sum game for both parties which is a detriment to American citizens and the Country.
My prediction, the tidal wave is building and I bet Biden is gone by the end of next week. (Like most of my predictions, they rarely come true)
