If you ever get into a frank discussion with a cop, ask him about body camera discipline. At what point in the academy are you trained to say loudly and clearly "Stop resisting!" and when it is ok mute your microphone while having a CYA discussion with a supervisor or a fellow officer.

My firearms have never killed anybody. They've been known to hurt steel from time-to-time, and put some holes thru paper, but not people.
Probably has something to do with me being a law-abiding citizen and a responsible gun owner.

How many vehicles have killed innocent people due to the drunk driver? Yet I don't see people going after the car manufacturer.

How many eating utensils have lead to the obesity epidemic in this country? Yet I don't see people going after the utensil maker. Or the fast-food vendor that the obese person frequents.

So I'll sum this up so that you and HD can understand it. Unfortunately I don't have a crayon handy to make it a bit easier.

Guns don't kill people.
Cars don't kill people.
Forks don't make people fat.
Pencils don't misspell words.

Guns and cars can hurt and kill people when in the hands of the incompetent or the idiotic or the diseased. The State (whatever meaning you wish to give to "the State") does a necessary job of keeping cars out of the hands of those kinds of people, for the most part.

Why would they be anybody's finest with losers like you criticizing them because you're uneducated and expect perfection 100% of the time? I've yet you see you badmouth a teacher, doctor, lawyer, etc who made a mistake. Did a cop nail your wife?
