I think that is a reasonable and appropriate conclusion given the fact that you and your friends keep referring to her as "he" and "a boy", and think it's great to out trans children online. There are clearly a lot of scary abusive adults out there who think it is tremendous fun to pick on 10 year old trans girls.

Why doesn't your child take up knitting if playing against a trans girl is too much for her? Seriously, how terrible a soccer player must she be if a 10 year old goalie who might or might not be trans has her weeping that soccer is now too hard for her. Or is it the "trauma" of not getting a trophy that is too much for your emotionally feeble little princess?

Why are you so scared of a 10 year old trans girl anyway? Do you fear that she will turn your child into a sexual deviant? Do you fear that she'll rape your child in the bathroom? Or do you fear that she will educate your daughter and expose you for the bigot that you are?

I know you're jesting, but I doubt most 10-year olds even think about it much. They haven't yet been watching and listening to their parents enough to understand their bigotry. Give them a few years though sadly. Middle-school is brutal, and the kids become parrots of their parents. Thankfully a lot now break through that wall with social media showing them how shitty their parents are. Yeah, maybe one good thing about social media is that kids these days are learning a lot about both sides of issues, rather than just what they see at home.

Kids 5-13 years old: Who cares who plays on what team? Sheesh

Kids 14-18: They've now been moved to teams that more match their evolving size and skill. Some coaches bring on a kid that is much bigger and much more skilled than the rest in that division. Is that fair? Likely not, but it happens. Most divisions in older ages end up with correctly sized players and it is up to the referee to keep them playing fairly when there are differences.

I can't tell if some of you are arguing about fairness in terms of safety or teams stacking with unfairly better players.

If it's safety concerns, you've been shown in previous posts that some of those ECNL girls at older ages play really hard. Lower levels still oftentimes have a few players that watch too much NFL on the weekends and bring it to soccer. So, what's your point?

If it's a fairness issue because a possible MTF kid is the best player on the field, what is the difference between that and a coach bringing an ECNL-level player to a Flight 1 team? Not much. But what a few people here have pointed out, are you getting your panties all tied in a wad for just the transgender player? If so, name calling... (shoe fits) It's such a small number, and even with growth of kids coming out, will stay small. Smaller than the sample of ECNL size kids playing down.

I have discussed the fairness issue in great length. In fact, I'm just about the only one here who is willing to consider the competing "fairness" interests on both sides. So when are you going to accept that any discussion of "fairness" also requires consideration of the interests of a 10 year old trans girl, rather than only your hurt feelings that your 10 year old daughter's opportunity to win a trophy at Surf Cup theoretically decreased? When are you going to accept that "fairness" requires that you and your shit bag friends refer to others by appropriate gender pronouns?

If you aren't going to step up to the plate to provide even a minimal amount of dignity and respect to a 10 year old trans girl, well, yes, you're a bigot, a transphobe and a shit bag. It's a pretty simple concept.

I think it’s fine until 12 years of age. After that no. Trans girls who are born male should not compete with women. They will have a significant advantage after going through male puberty.
 
Studies suggest that genes can effect one’s gender identity. Like I said there is nothing wrong being trans as there is nothing wrong being gay. But being born male and identifying as a woman while going through male puberty can bring in significant advantages to the trans female when competing in women’s sports thus making it unfair competition for cisgender women.

Being trans or gay are both errors (mutations) in the genetic code which is very normal over a large population when talking about epigenetics. Stressors in the environment can bring about mutations. If trans people reproduce them there is a good chance these mutations can be passed as well.

Basically, the current spike in transgender identification may be linked to all the hormone disruptors in the plastic around our kids. Avent in particular put a bunch of BPA in baby bottles about 20 years ago. The BPA is an estrogen mimic and leached into the milk the kids drank. Those kids are in high school and college now.

One more reason EU has it right with the precautionary principle. Don’t put that crap in products if you don’t know what it does.

It is hard to imagine a quality leftist stepping up to defend chemicals in baby food, but here we are.

I'm saying quack theories are quacky. That article linked is a joke. Just because the author supposedly has a PhD, doesn't make it true. The number of uses of "may", and other loaded statements in the article shows it is nothing more than an opEd, not a scientific paper...
