Trans eligibility rules for girls sports.

I believe Isreal does the same thing. Imagine some of the wayward youth, young adults, getting a couple years of discipline, responsibility, and accountability instilled in them…learn a skill…not saying it is the best or perfect way, but it is a way….and if you look at the crime rates per capita we outpace them by a long, long way, in a bad way. Not saying that service is the reason, it’s just interesting to look at.
My dd has a friend whose mother is from Isreal. She served in the Air Force and she is one tough mama bear. Beautiful, very confident and very smart I might add. I think we should put all 16-17 year old's in one year of military academy (sorry soccer) ((proper training and education on why America is amazing)), to learn how to shoot a gun, how to talk to your elders and how to respect yourself first, how to love yourself first and how to respect others and how to love others. If you don't like yourself, you will hate others. If you don't respect yourself, you will be disrespectful to others. If you judge yourself to hell unless you say a prayer, then you will also judge others to hell.

I served in the Navy at a time when Boot Camp was accelerated to get fresh meat into the fleet. Part of that was restricting small arms training to a single day. I recall (it was a long time ago, so this may not be accurate) firing a single clip from a .22 in what looked like a re-purposed bowling alley and watching as the instructor fired a round from the old classic .45. In the current Navy Boot Camp, all trainees are given instruction in military weapons and the opportunity to qualify for rifle and handgun marksmanship award ribbons. In my day, the only people with those ribbons had at one time or another in their careers been assigned to a duty that required the use of the weapons, such as SEAL/UDT, Master-At-Arms, or guarding cash. I had a one-day qualification duty (CINBATT2) at Pt. Mugu where we fired a few rounds on the base firing range, but no records were kept other than our attendance.

On the plus side. I helped ready an F-14 for a ground static firing of its Vulcan gun -- it sounded like a zipper being pulled, very loudly.

There are 18M people in Israel and Switzerland. There are 18M people in the NYC metro area. National pride/patriotism goes along way in Israel and Switzerland. One prides itself on neutrality(and chocolate) and one prides itself on resiliency and tenacity.

Let's start sending the kids from NYC and LA to boot camp. They need a whole new teaching about why were here and why you were even born in the first place.

I had a very strong "sus" on a few ladies in sport and I just can't wrap my head around it. Something is off and does not feel right. The Light is now here and we will see everyone in their true self soon. No more cheating on the females is what's coming next. These losers are atually trying to wipe out females altogether. Insane! I feel bad for the young soccer players of today that have to kiss the asshats at the top and STFU and toe the line. Kneel or else. Fully jabbed or no play for you. Yikes!

Trans News: Former college volleyball player hits back at soccer star Megan Rapinoe's 'absurd' stance on trans athletes
The USWNT forward said high school sports teams not "important" compared to trans people's 'lives'

"I would also encourage everyone out there who is afraid someone’s going to have an unfair advantage (Surf Futbol) over their kid to really take a step back and think what are we actually talking about here. We’re talking about people’s lives (and young girls brains). I’m sorry, your kid’s high school volleyball team just isn’t that important. It’s not more important than any one kid’s life," Megan

Adriana McLamb, a former Division I athlete at Rutgers and FIU, blasted the "absurd" comments.

"I think it's actually kind of absurd because we do care, especially as a volleyball player. We very much do care about your daughter's high school volleyball team," McLamb

"Especially in the case of Payton McNabb, who actually testified this week in North Carolina, who is severely concussed and injured by a biological man on the other side of a net. So we very much do care because this is not just about it being unfair for female athletes, but we're getting to the point that's unsafe."

While I don't discount their national pride, there is also the mandatory conscription in Israel (Men & Women) and Switzerland (Men) that may need to be taken into account ...

Because that's apples and oranges. 1) there are laws on the books that require you to properly secure your weapons, 2) its very easy to secure weapons privately in your own home in a gun safe. It's difficult to secure a vehicle when its primarily used in public.

Only irresponsible people don't properly secure their guns. Like I said if it was properly secured and stolen you shouldn't be held liable, but I bet its rare that a properly secured gun is stolen.

This having been said, we need to start with better enforcement of laws against those that use guns in a crime, before we go after those that don't properly secure their guns.
Poppycock...
Here's what you said:

The clear takeaway is that criminals don't buy guns from a retail outlet. Bigger no shit. I couldn't care less where criminals obtain guns, enforce gun crimes whether it's illegal possession or if it was used to commit a crime, and if your stolen gun ends up in the hands of a criminal you should be prosecuted too.

"If your stolen car ends up in the hands of a criminal (redundant) you should be prosecuted too."

Apples oranges and f'n fruit salad...

I agree with you regarding better enforcement.
Criminals should be locked up and if they use a gun, they should do a minimum of 25 years in prison and if they shoot someone another twenty five years should be added to the sentence and if they kill someone using a gun, they should rot in prison.

And if you smuggle and sell fentanyl, you shall receive death.
