I couldn't care less who Bud Light puts on their cans, but this controversy shows just how shallow and fake the whole corporate woke thing is. First off, A-B hires a woman to improve their ESG score. The woman does her job by creating this campaign (as misguided as it was from a business standpoint), then A-B executives claim they had no idea about the marketing campaign. Really? some mid-level marketing manager can unilaterally change the design of a Bud Light can? Bullshit. So they try to be woke and it fails so they completely throw this marketing WOMAN under the bus. Again, there is this element of misogyny that underlies the woke ideology.

And no, police don't tend to give parents scene pictures...you are spicy today and usually dramatic. Morticians and their attendants do a wonderful job of preserving the likeness of kids. Please tell me my position on firearms..I would love to get your take....this game is so fun. Are you afraid of strong, independent, professional women that carry? As far as schools are concerned, what is your recommendation. Do we continue to eject rhetoric from our 4th points of contact and do nothing? Wonder what you think of SROs, enhanced private presence, and more active measures at schools? It's obvious that passive measures are easily defeated. Would you vote to increase taxes to provide better protection at your kid's school? Or will you continue spew out leaflet commentary on gun control? I can't figure out whether you are a staffer for someone or if you practice some sort of meaningless law.

So they’re different, but they’re not different when school shooters use assault rifles instead of handguns. When that happens, they’re the same? But regardless, we shouldn’t do anything at all about AR-15s in civilian hands because two children a year are also killed by lightning? That’s what you’re saying?

Well, she's not really a woman bro. Let's be honest, we can't tell anymore. The scam and the heist these evil men have been doing forever needed "female" help to finish their last act. The fact is, most real females can't deceive like men can so the men came up with a plan to play the part of the "wife" and "woman worker" to make quota and to trick us all. Look at the Adams Apple, the hands and a few other things. The great awaking is going to trip us all out. I love you watty because I know deep deep down you really care about ALL kids being protected from these monsters. They want the kids for a reasons. Damn reading comprehension is really not your thing. A bullet to the head from a .380 revolver is just as deadly as a 5.56 from an ar from 10 yards. Different gun, same result. I know it's hard to comprehend numbnuts but try and keep up. Your lack of understanding firearms is just getting laughable now.

This issue is way to complex to capture. The fact is guns are on the street, guns are in people's homes, law abiding citizens aren't going to give up their guns...they know giving up their guns aren't going to solve the problem. It's a sad circle.

I'm not politicizing it TBH. It's along the lines of the first step in solving a problem is recognizing that there is a problem. It seems to me that the "whataboutery" approach is avoiding the first step. I could be a complete cynic and say that politician of both stripes don't want to solve the problem as there are way too many votes in the status quo for each "side".

Its somewhat like the abortion issue. I read years back from a political commentator that deep in GOP pol land, they never wanted SCOTUS to reverse it because its an easy vote getter, esp. for some single issue voters ... now that SCOTUS have, that view was prescient as now its a vote loser and/or those single issue voter have "gone".

WRT my highlighted comment above, I have some friends in another country who have guns, the basic process is as follows
  1. Hmm, I think I'll buy a gun (for sporting reasons)
  2. Buy a gun safe
  3. Install the gun safe, secured to concrete, i.e. it can't just be picked up and moved
  4. Ask police to come around and inspect my secure gun safe
  5. Apply for a license
  6. Buy gun once approved - gun seller can only sell to licensed people
That's maybe extreme obviously, but #3 or the lack therein is allegedly the biggest cause of criminals having guns - so maybe look at how to solve that problem.

Its not going to happen though. When you have politicians specifically stopping any widespread/consolidate reporting on guns, you know where the priorities are - and its nothing to do with reducing the 40K number irrespective of the age/gender/color/location/demographics of the victims.

It is indeed a sad circle.

Not talking about Dylan. Talking about the woman who came up with the idea to put Dylan on the can. Dylan can do their thing, I don't really care, but from what little I've seen of they, they's act appears to be mocking, or parodying women. There are some in the transgender community that don't think Dylan is sincere and believe they is a cross-dressing, gay guy.

I was not talking about Dylan bro. Do you own research about the woman who made this all happen. Have I been wrong about much the last 4 years watty? Were all going to see the Truth and it will freaking hurt the soul to the core, unless you don't have a soul or already sold your soul to Lucifer. Actually only 6% of guns used in crimes are acquired through theft (according to the DOJ), but I bet that the lack of #3 is a big reason for accidental shooting deaths. The primary source of guns for criminals is the black market and straw purchases. However, I'd like to see more people prosecuted for failing to properly secure a gun in accidental shootings and if the stolen gun was used in a crime. Responsible gun owners keep their guns in a safe.
