Top 10 GU2011

Youth Soccer Rankings is great once all the teams have about 30 games so the algorithm can work. In a normal year, that would be soon for the 2011's. This year, who knows. I wouldn't pay any attention for a while, but It's fun looking at some of the older age groups. 2010 and older is probably pretty spot-on based on last year.

There have been many times my 2007 has played in tournaments against teams I know nothing about. This website predicted about 80% of the games within a goal.
 
It’s just very odd that the flight one state cup champs are not on the list. In my opinion... they have the numbers and titles to be placed at number 1. And before anyone gets worked up, trust me our team wants to beat them as bad as any other team. I give respect when respect is due. What’s your opinion?

You have to play a certain number of games before you are ranked. My guess is some of the Blues results were not picked up by the site. Again, the site is awesome and very accurate but it takes half a year for it to work itself out.

If anyone on this board has been keeping track of tournament results for this age group, you can send the links to ysr and they will update the game results. If the contact person is the same, send info to mark@usyouthsoccerrankings.com . Maybe one person can take the lead so there aren't a bunch of different people sending in info. Worth a shot to keep the age group updated on ysr.

Ranked on what basis? I wasnt aware anyone kept stats on 9 and 10 year olds.

Not that I'd mind some algorithm telling me my daughter is the best CM out there. It just seems mighty young for anyone to bother.

They don't rank 9 and 10 years old individual girls...that would be ridiculous The Topdrawersoccer player rankings don't come into effect until players hit U14. And even there it's somewhat of a subjective process left to the TDS staff.

This weekend the 2,3,4 ranked teams are having a friendly round robin. Should be great to see the top teams playing each other.
 

Great Battle between 2 great teams... Once again Ole’s defense reigned supreme!!! At the 6:31 mark in this video u see a little glimpse of the offense putting in a little work. Sweet left foot goal from #7 great pass from the winger!!

What is the story with Legends? I thought most of their players moved to another team? Was it Real SoCal?

Thanks. And Liverpool is the old LAGOC, right? And with the Legends players, they don't crack your top 10? Have you seen them play yet?

Surf (#10) was a mid range team in their league but they have improved after their recent tryout. They got whacked at the Surf Cup by Slammers HB but also tied Forsyth. Wondering if Liverpool should be up there. What do you think?
