Yes, US supported regime change has been a painful failure since WW II. However, weakening the leadership as thoroughly as has been accomplished in Iran always presents possibilities of change. Many more empires have fallen than currently remain.

Leadership has changed, but not weakened. Iranian leadership is as strong as ever when it gets thousands of its citizens to form a human chain around bridges and power plants . Until radical islam and sharia law are eliminated there will be no change in Iran.

Are we now the world’s police, moral authority and social director? Military success does not equal strategic success. The Iranian regime has actually gained leverage and of course their oil revenues have gone through the roof (non sanctioned oil sold on the open market is far more profitable). They feel they are winning. As the donald is running for an exit. Art of the deal.

Correcting grammatical or spelling errors is funny when pointing out said errors of someone attempting to claim some sense of superiority. Now if one claims superiority while correcting errors that person is a douchebag. (And yes I know typos happen and autocorrect gets things wrong)
