I'm probably just going to chill at home with a cocktail, hoping that none of the spending propositions pass.

Interesting fact about the crime prop 36. 67% of Democrats polled are a yes vote on it, but there are no Democrat organizations that endorse a Yes vote, and 58 that endorse a No vote. If there is any doubt about the Democrat Party being soft on crime and couldn't care less about its constituents, this is clear evidence.

Influence beyond the constituency is in play to a very large degree - impactful enough that they ignore their overwhelming support. This type of arrogance is only possible because CA effectively a single party state.

It's national also. Harris was picked by the party, she likely wouldn't have placed in the top 5 in an open primary. As much as I would have preferred someone other than Trump, at least he was selected by Republican voters, and not the party.
 
In case Harris wins Vladimir Putin is offering free flights to Russia for disappointed magas . . . then free room and board, a free rifle followed by a complementary train ride to the Ukrainian front!
