Yeah, I'm fine with eliminating waste, but there's so much noise over something so small in relative terms. The goal here apparently is to cut 10% of fed employees, so save $35B annually. That's no small amount, but its also .001% of the federal budget.I've already stated that I'm against the blanket firings. No question that there is a performative element to the request, but when you're dealing with hundred of thousands of employees in our bloated government its a very efficient way to sort through fat. Particularly to identify ghost employees and employees that have completely checked out. It also sends the message that the free lunch is over.
Unfortunately, this is an example of the extremes that our country is facing. On one side you have mass firings and funding freezes. On the other side you have 14 Democrat AG's trying to block the Chief Executive of our country from investigating government agencies by filing completely frivolous lawsuits. Between the two, I will take hyper accountability over protecting widespread political grift.

Meanwhile the Senate is looking to spend another $350B in new spending, and the House is looking to add $50B annually for the next 10 years, while adding $4T to the debt in the next 2.
There's a lot of theatre going on which is being lapped up, but unless someone comes up with a budget at or below $5.5T, this is all clear BS. The budget after that should be $5T and so on down.
Its both parties btw, that's crystal clear, even currently.
Yep, it’s a heartbeat check as well. Kinda crazy when you think about it. It will be interesting.Let this sink in: The reason that Elon sent out that email to all the Government employees requiring a response was to find out 2 things. This is important and folks with TDS and MDS will not get it.
1) Who doesn’t read their work emails as in your fired next and….
2) Are their *ghost employees getting paid. More crimes to find?
*AI is the deep states undoing. These people are dumb & dumber
Thought for the day with crush: What they thought was buried is a search request away nowStupid morons!!
DOGE Team is going to find that the depths of fuckery the people running our government have been committing are fucking staggering.
President Trump, The Commander in Chief is going to give a speech that all members of Congress are required to attend, and all networks are required to broadcast on 3/4/2025. Time for a sharp fucking rebuke
If the DemonRats & RINO's thought 21% approval rating were bad well, they have seen anything, yet that T 2.0 is going to show the world. And the world will be shocked.
What a time to be alive. I love you all. There are no untruths or possibly the truths. It's the TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH, so help me GOD!! The TRUTH shall set us all free too. Who wants to be a FREE BIRD? Some little birds stay in their stinky and dirty cages because they are controlled and brainwashed. Afraid to fly on their own.

Don't disagree, but where is all the abuse and waste going to conservative causes? (Is Musk just hiding those? I'm pretty sure Dems would scream from the highest mountain if they found any money going to spread Christianity or block abortions across the world. Maybe overspending on defense, but DOGE is supposed to investigate that as well. If your following the narrative you'd argue that tax cuts for the rich are the Right's fraud and waste, but Trump's tax cuts benefitted everyone.Yeah, I'm fine with eliminating waste, but there's so much noise over something so small in relative terms. Excellent points. Lets see what Grace T has for a comeback. The kickback game is over.Don't disagree, but where is all the abuse and waste going to conservative causes? (Is Musk just hiding those? As far as the extent of the savings, that would be a fair criticism if we weren't only a month into the administration.
I'm 100% against a DOGE dividend. I think that's just pandering to voters and every dollar saved should go to paying down the debt.
Agree on the dividend, not least as its theoretical rather than actual, but it makes no sense to send it to people when you've "saved" it, as you'll have to borrow the money to send, and you couldn't possibly make that shit up!Don't disagree, but where is all the abuse and waste going to conservative causes? Productivity per employee has increased significantly over the last 40 years. There aren't as many typists in the steno pool retyping the boss's memos as there used to be.Possibly true, but you don't know that, and neither do I. I'd certainly bet on it, but I'd also like the bloat to be gotten rid of not the easiest (probation) and I'd like there to be a plan to ensure no damage is done versus stupid emails.
The reality is that the number of govt. employees hasn't actually increased in like 40 years, while the population is serves has increased by nearly 100M people. So certainly there is some efficiencies being driven there.

Yes, I tried to warn you all a few years ago. Now you get @Dominic. We all got used, especially some of the children on the earth.
