There hasn't been a major new non-government pension established in something like 30 years.It might be a good thing that an administration finally takes a good, hard look at government waste and abuse. The first thing Elon and Vivek should cut or eliminate is public employee pensions. The public employees have been bleeding the American Taxpayer dry for years, especially in California. As a group, the biggest gamers of the system have been the firefighter and police unions where the pension cost could last up to 30 years. Unfortunately, union pensions are not going anywhere. The unions are too politically connected particularly on the left.
