Reporter: “How many people need to leave Gaza?”

t: “ALL of them. The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip. We'll own it. We have an opportunity to do something that could be phenomenal. The Riviera of the Middle East."

CNN's Katlin Collins: "One, are you suggesting they [Palestinians] should go? And two, are you saying they should return after it's rebuilt, and if not, who do you envision living there?"

t: "I envision a world, people, living there, the world's people, I think, you'll make that, into, an international, unbelievable, place, I think the potential, in the Gaza Strip, is unbelievable, and I think the entire world, representatives from all over the world, will be there, and there, uh, and they'll, and they'll, Palestinians also, Palestinians will live there, many people will live there, but, ah, they've tried the other, and they've tried it for decades and decades and decades, it's not gonna work, it didn't work, it will never work, and, uh, you have to learn from history, history is, ah, you know, we just can't let it keep repeating itself, we have an opportunity to do something that could be, ah, phenomenal, and I don't wanna be cute, I don't wanna be a wise guy, but The Riviera of the Middle East, this could be something, I could be, so..."

Collins: "But WHERE do those people go in the meantime, Mr. President?"

t: "...but more importantly than that, is the people that have been, absolutely destroyed, that live there now, can live in peace in a much better situation, because they're living in hell, and those people will now be able to live in peace, we'll make sure that it's done World Class, it'll be wonderful for the people, Palestinians, Palestinians mostly we're talking about, and I have a feeling that despite them saying no, I have a feeling, that the King, in Jordan, and that the General, President, but that the General, and Egypt, will open their hearts and give us the land we need to get this done and people can live in harmony and peace."

One thing he certainly got right -- it's "unbelievable".

Breaking news: Mitch the old crow fell down the Senate stairs just now. I honestly hope he's ok. However, this is elder abuse for forcing this guy to walk and vote. They & Them wheeled Diane around and she was about to die and then kept Jimmy alive to vote for Joe.

Dude should be out of government. The problem with “self-identifying” competence when it comes to dementia-type conditions is that the ability to determine that you are competent becomes compromised. I’ve seen multiple cases of elders where they were not capable of remembering any recent conversations, or even capable of getting their meals at the grocery. But, the one thing they always remembered was, “I’m fine. I don’t need any help.”

Where we leave we create a space for whoever wants to gain more influence in an area . . . China? Russia? Iran? North Korea? Venezuela? Or any other wannabe world power.
That depends on whether they are worse off or not. You'd expect China will probably be in with their belt and road program where they feel it makes sense for them, Russia probably has a lot less $$ and Iran will maybe sniff around. The others are not worth talking about.

Son: Hi mom, how are you?

Mom (85 years old): I'm fine dear, just find
