Galaxy 4-0 LAUFA. The game was 1-0 until about 15 mins into 2nd half when a long range shot put them up 2-0 and the game opened up. Only one of the 2 big forwards played for Galaxy.

Apple valley storm beat Boca 1-0 I saw that team play at NHB they can move the ball real nice, they create a lot of goal scoring opportunities.
 
Maybe premier is not all that this year? three Gold South teams in the semis and two facing off in the CSL league cup final
 
Starting with the Sweet 16 Apple Valley faced a Premier Team every game on their way to the finals and won them all. Excellent job!
 
With this being the 1st year with the age changes, no body really knew what they had as a team. I would say most of the Premier teams even the 01's had a rough season. Time to recruit!

Seems so. When you have multiple Gold teams knocking out Premier teams, then it certainly seems the top division wasn't all that "Premier". Sure TFA was missing, but there were enough top table Premier teams to properly represent. But yeah it's to be expected with the birth year change and DA expansion. I don't think anyone really knew the level of talent they had compared to the competition.

The vast majority of these teams are breaking for High School after next week and a lot can happen in 3 months, but West Coast is definitely looking like the early favorite to win Nationals. They pretty much cruised through SCDSL and it's hard to tell who in CSL can challenge them when multiple Premier teams lost to Gold teams.

Early goal in the 1st half and the one few minutes into the 2nd half was the difference.

GSA makes good uses of their players, gets them on the field, has good coaching so going to be interesting to see how they progress 2nd half of the season.
