There is VERY strong competition on the Left for the Darwin Award. This one, wow. 😂😂😂😂😂

Sunny and Cher, our two feral-cat adoptees, went to the vet for the first time yesterday. Now we know that both are female and Sunny is pregnant (perhaps Cher also). After 2 car rides in little boxes (my daughter's cat carriers) and meeting a few new people, they are both super-cuddling today.

Follow-up -- SPCA did a spay-and-abort procedure on both of them. In spite of fighting back when I was putting them in their carriers, they are now competing with each other for the rights to sit on my lap.

One final point -- there is no such thing as a free cat.

I will be looking into pet insurance for our next pet(s). Pet care is expensive. Grooming, vet visits and boarding. Boarding for two dogs is close to the price of a hotel room.

I was going to say that I pay nothing for my pet squirrels, and then I remembered that I fed them peanuts every day
