Elon Musk

As I said earlier in this thread Elon is likely working for free to get back at the libs because the private school he sent his son to taught the kid he could be trans.

Just guessing but it probably pisses him off that he spent a bunch of $$$ for "education" that turned his kid into a wingnut.

This is how people with infinite power and money get back those who they feel wronged them.

So the guy that created multiple successful businesses and earned his money is going after the people who have been in power for about 40 plus years and put the country in financial debt is the good guy, right?

As a former "drunken sailor" myself, I can state with certainty that none of us ever spent our grandchildren's money.
I heard about those "Bunk Offs" on the high seas with the drunken sailors. WTF happen to you on that ship? I helped one guy find Christ after his dark confessions from his drunken sailor days.

I checked the Tesla charger website for Owens Valley -- website says there are 16 Supercharger stations in Lone Pine behind the Museum of Western Film History. I can't tell from the video if they are all in use. There are another 12 Superchargers 60 miles north in Bishop behind the Big 5/Rite Aid strip mall.

The charging rate in Lone Pine is listed as $0.59/kwh. That works out to almost $20/gallon gasoline equivalent (EPA estimates 33,7 kwh/gallon of gasoline energy equivalent). If you charge at home, the rates depend on your local electrical utility. Here in SMUD land, charging at home is like buying gasoline at $4/gallon (or 10% cheaper if you charge in the middle of the night 12-6 AM).

My Ram 3500CTD with it's 50G fuel tank can make it up and back from SoCal to Mammoth on one tank. No waiting in line for hours for a charger like the 30+ people do in the Stater Bros parking lot in Mojave.

I remember when I had to devise and conduct tests on all of the versions of our Lightweight Computer Unit for Y2K weakness, caused by the same 2-digit year shortcut in old software.
