So come fall they will announce a new league called MLS2? There is zero info on it. When are they rolling it out?

It's already rolled out for the fall. Being admined by EA, but EA teams will play EA teams in their league, and MLS2 teams will play MLS 2 teams in their league, just like right now EA2 teams play EA2 teams in their league.

The key difference is that like ECNL/ECRL, MLS2 is supposed to be interlocking with MLSN so for teams that have an A and a B in each league, in theory they should be able to float their (for some very large) benches to play in MLS2. We'll see if in practice it actually works out that way.
