Charlie pissed off a lot of people. Based on rumor mill Charlie was offered some serious pay for play money recently, but he told them, "No."

Wow, thanks for letting us all know after you forced everyone to take this poison without testing if the poison was safe & effective. Those of us that said no, were fired. Insane times we all find ourselves in. My pal Scott is super paranoid with much. He thinks were on the edge of civil war and that Trump is now cancelling everyone he hates. I told him this is what happens when two fight Scott. Two can play fight but that doesn't make them right. Scott is afraid.

He's not an educator, a health care giver or anyone in a position of authority that is subject to a strict code of conduct or professional standards. Plus what he said was pretty tame. Although, he's not funny, I don't think our comedians should be censored.

Yes and no. The problem with JK is that he tried his best to be a political influencer. He also tried to be funny and he failed. If he had just stuck to comedy he'd still be on air.. but probably to a very small audience.

Agreed, but should he be fired for simply being a political influencer on a late night show which has typically been reserved for comedy? I say no. However, if his political schtick results in low ratings then fire his ass. In this case he was fired for his political opinion. Colbert was fired because the show was losing $40 million a year, likely due to the fact he wasn't funny and too political.

Who wants to kick back at the end of the night and be lectured about politics? Carson was always a refreshing, mindless way to wind down your day.

“Who wants to kick back at the end of the night and be exposed to the reality of what they might support.” There, fixed it for you. Comedians have capped on presidents since Washington, yet none were ever so vulnerable or thin skinned as now . . . and of course there are the legions of deflectors, apologists and propagandists.

Kimmel screwed up when he proposed that Kirk's assassin was part of the "maga crowd" without any evidence. And he did it in a way that could not be seen as a parody of t's hate speech as in the way that the Gavinator's support group has been doing.
