“Tangible results” oh do tell. I believe I told this story before but my maga financial guy put me in some funds to protect me from “dem policies”, lol!

Well, mostly due to timing that I didn't have control over, I invested after the April announcement on tariffs. 34% return in 5 months. All due to Trump, he made the market go down so I could buy low and then has made it go up again 🤣 🤣 🤣

Like I said before, the market is volatile right now and I don't totally trust the gains, but I don't want to sell either and have to pay short term gains. So I'm letting it ride. Playing a little bit with covered calls.

Yeah, not the best idea to base it on political policies. I don't see much long term correlation between stocks and presidential parties. I was happy, thankful actually, when the market was up under Biden.

I still contend everyone would be safer and happier if they just did what they needed to do and shut up about it. It's 2025. Who gives a shit anymore? But if you're 6' 5", with a beard, walking around in a dress and earrings, you're going to get stared at. If you spent 3 years swimming on the men's team at Penn and you're on the women's team the next year, did you not NOT see the smoke coming? If you have to wear a bunch of makeup so you ALMOST look female at a girl's track meet, you can make yourself a lot of money betting that people root against you. That goes way beyond believing you were born into the wrong body. That I can't (personally) understand but do accept.

Furthermore, demanding this or that hasn't really worked all that well for anybody that was slightly out of the norm. Whatever anger issues this dude had... shooting up a church knowing it was full of kids is nothing but evil and cowardice. Someone does you wrong, deal with someone.
