Economic indicators are definitely mixed and I believe the economy will remain volatile primarily due to outstanding trade/tariff deals. Good call on your buddies cutting the graph off at June, because the dollar had a nice rebound in July (best in 3 years) on better than expected economic news. https://www.barrons.com/articles/dollar-value-economic-data-trump-3a813ba3 Projections are still for dollar declines through the end of the year. We shall see what reality actually looks like since July's upturn was not predicted. I'm very happy with near weekly stock market highs, but realize not everyone is in the market. While inflation and some costs are down (gas and eggs), prices are not coming down quick enough for my tastes.
