🤔 I thought all the politicians are getting rich and definitely benefiting financially from being in politics. Elon's wealth increased at a rapid rate until the tariffs. Now, Tesla is trading at about the same price as 11/5, so he's lost nothing financially, and has gained government contracts, plus we had the unprecedented auto car sale on the WH lawn.

Trump is doing very well out of it I'd have thought, with the Crypto business, billing the taxpayer for Mar O, Meme crap, Trump social - its pretty easy to bung him $ if you are so inclined.

Sorry, but the narrative doesn't follow the facts. IDK about Trump's 2nd term, but he lost significant net worth 1st term. Musk has lost substantial net worth during his stint in politics. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Musk hasn't received any new contracts since joining the Trump administration. Even Bloomberg didn't have an increase in net worth during his term as mayor. I believe he spent more than he recovered.

You can complain about Tesla subsidies, but electric cars were the cornerstone of the Dems green agenda until he started supporting Trump.

Again, reading comprehension. Slow down. I didn’t justify it. We disagree. I was stating that your outrage appears partisan. I don’t remember you on here stating that Biden needs to be removed after he was elected. Did I miss that? Nor do I remember you calling for the investigation and/or removal of the prior SOS? Maybe I missed that too. If so, cheers to your consistently non-partisan outrage.

SpaceX has received billions in new contracts since the start of this admin.

I didn't complain about electric car subsidies ... but I will now if you want, they should be removed. All the corporate socialism that we "pay" for should be on the block, esp. for industries and players who make billions in profits every year.

Hegseth isn't an elected official. The last one being AWOL was inexcusable and he should have been terminated there and then. At least he left someone in charge though, albeit not his wife, maybe she wasn't up to the job but Mrs H apparently is, as he won't do shit unless she's involved - the big he-man that he is 😘😘.

Competitive contracts and not subsidies. No other company can come close to what SpaceX can provide in terms cost and competency for space related exploration and defense. How did Boeing do with the ISS? SpaceX was the only company that could return the astronauts and cosmonaut in a timely and successful manner. SpaceX also offers fixed price contracts unlike other contractors that are typically cost-plus (far riskier) contracts

The beef with Musk is 100% political and emotional.

You brought Elon into the conversation, not me. Starlink would be a grossly inferior internet connectivity solution for rural Americans. There was a whole study etc. done. bids tendered and the intent was to provide rural America with top class internet connectivity so that they could be connected and competitive.
