I'm sure @young@heart can confirm but I believe it's the same 17 teams in SW but just one division now (rather than split between Mojave and Sonoran).
southwest conference remains the same, no new clubs. They are scrapping the Mojave and Sonoran brackets and having one conference. Everyone plays each other once. It was decided there were too many games being played in this conference. Less load from a player perspective now as well as less travel/money.I've put this on other threads here as well, and I have no inside info. But, I would fully expect 26 league games where you play each team home and away. One game each weekend, with a rare two game weekend mixed in a couple times.
16 league games plus whatever events your club does.southwest conference remains the same, no new clubs. They are scrapping the Mojave and Sonoran brackets and having one conference. This WILL stink for the stacked teams. I'm betting this will have players shifting, as it should. That would stink for the teams that stacked rosters over 20
There are a few teams with less than 20. This will certainly be an interesting season with one division, less games, stacked rosters/playing time.I don't think there are any teams with less than 20 players to start the season at least at the older age. But yes, I see your point.
Clubs still take that high school break anyways, right?Honestly I'm all for 16 games. Plus most will be playing H.S .
Really? Maybe in the younger ages, I should've said in 08 and older. But I honestly thought all ECNL and RL teams were stacked. Glad to hear there are some that aren't. Although I will say 2nd half of the season is always a struggle because of injuries, girls quitting, etc. the team with 26 suddenly is down to 15 players. There are a few teams with less than 20. This will certainly be an interesting season with one division, less games, stacked rosters/playing time.
Yes, ECNL/RL does,Clubs still take that high school break anyways, right?
