I'm hearing it has to do with the coach and the players burned out. Starters are starting to look elsewhere. They may have to bring up their RL players to NL now.

A coup! exciting! planned by students ? parents? professional organizers ? Creating the next blueprint for how to get things done in soccer! That’s a true “game of throw ins!!”I heard some big moves about to take place and possible coup for one club. I don't want to let cat out of the bag, but it might be the biggest haul of talent since 5 top Blues players went to Surf to go win the Natty in 2017. It happens right around this time. I had not heard from this dad in a long time and then he drops a big MOABs. My source said the deals are all but done but need the signatures (verbal don't mean squat in club) and all of us in sales were taught naught to count chickens before their hatched. 2010s will have a very competitive year for 24/25.
The second one came off of a free kick from their center mid to one of their defenders for the go ahead winning goal.. great game.Crush, you are trying to get me in trouble! I can offer up a few items. First red card was on koge, called for a “last man” foul just outside the box, then a similar call on Surf just outside their box. Neither resulted in a goal. Surf could have scored perhaps 3-4 goals in the first 15 minutes but due to an offside goal called back, numerous shots over the goal from relative short range, etc. Koge’s goals were quality efforts, first being a 1v1 with their forward (who is big and strong) getting through Surfs center back and I can’t remember the exact circumstance of the second goal. The impressive thing about Koge is they are a hospital/patched up team with many players playing hobbled or not playing at all while Surf was at full strength. A great win for Koge. All the national camp players were there.
Contract talks are stalled at this point from my source. One club might get 8 players and one might be left with no roster. Transfer Portal is now open. Big negotiations going on. Carpooling is in play and all those toll charges. If carpooling is covered by a certain club, you might see a mass exodus. Someone once asked me, "was it worth the drive from Temecula to OC two days a week to play for the mighty Blues and great TB." I said, "yes." Two years my dd was coached by an honest and trustworthy coach and I appreciate that 100%. I was told to always play for the best coach, not the team. Best coach usually has the best team.
and a shot of your favorite TequilaTake it with the grain of salt.
Blues is toast.
Legends is looking break roster size records and create a royal rumble atmosphere amongst players (they'll be able to scrimmage themselves 11v11 and still have bench pieces available to both sides).
Beach small roster tweaks.
Slammers small roster tweaks.
Koge, waiting on a couple of trophy pieces.
Surf, no clue.
Sporting in the toilet.
Pats signing several new faces.
Breakers, no clue.
LAFC, roster tweaks and waiting on a couple pieces.
Eagles, on an island to themselves. No clue.
We must have the same news source. Insane what's about to drop. Good luck to all the rest. I think Surf & Hog will be battling for 2nd place.Take it with the grain of salt.

why would parents take their kids to a team that wants to break roster size record? parents.....Take it with the grain of salt.

Legends and Koge will have big rosters - but isn’t it the norm that these teams start to collect players now due to injuries? They will want to have a backups esp 10s, CBs & FWDs players. If the backups are very good even better when one gets injured!why would parents take their kids to a team that wants to break roster size record? parents.....
You're trying to convince us that Legends having a Record Roster Size is going to be good? Which kids on that team are you willing to bench for 60 minutes? How many injuries do you see that team having?Legends and Koge will have big rosters - but isn’t it the norm that these teams start to collect players now due to injuries? What team at Blues is toast? Are coaching assignments out yet?
Pats with new faces could be a game changer for them / the 10s looked strong for a bit.
Beach plays beautiful soccer like mvla.
AZ and Royals for 09s at least are impressing and mixing it up . Surf and koge and Blues 10s same 3 as it ever was.
Movement is good - new faces better.

Koge - has a very good reputation of not having a very large roster because they care about their players
seriously? Legends has a reputation of not treating their players very well.why would parents take their kids to a team that wants to break roster size record? parents.....

that's the dream in youth soccer for coaches! not players or parents. @crush ... I don't want to hear about your kid's play time in AZ anymore if you're encouraging this.11 v 11 all-star practices with top players on the bench looking for minutes is a competitor's dream. If you ride the pine, grind and bare it and look to find a team for next season or maybe a mid-season transfer. This is how cream rises to the top, moo![]()

Parents...don't do this to your kids or other kids. This is not college or pros.

From what I’ve seen this year it’s the parents telling the kids what to feel and what to think …You don't think top players like training against each other? Ask them. They love it.
That said, I agree that we parents need to keep out of it. We bring our egos, and they get in the way.

absolutely....against 18 players. not 22-24 on a team that is only allowed to roster 18. There is a limit to everything. You don't think top players like training against each other? Ask them. They love it.

I think Legends has only 16 active players on their NL roster. The RL is at 17. There’s been some new additions added this week to their roster so I’m not sure what it looks like right now, but since the midway point they haven’t played with record breaking roster sizes from my direct observationsLegends is starting to have a reputation of adding tons of players to their roster and spreading them all over the place. Be careful. The additions normally do not help the team because they are redundant additions. They hurt the team in the long run.

The only reason to have 22-24 players on the roster is $ for the club, hard stop. What is best for players is playing. What is best for teams is team chemistry and great coaching. The ideal team is 12 to 13 starter quality starting level players and 3-4 players willing to be bench players. 18-20 starting quality players is a recipe for disaster. A great wise coach told me once that picking the best 18 players is easy, picking a team is difficult. As the kids get older (16 on) the roster needs to be a little bigger because injuries increase and player outside conflicts exist.I think Legends has only 16 active players on their NL roster.
