The back & forth with Slob came out of a comment I made in reply to him (comment) where I also said that if B deserves to be prosecuted, then I'm fine with that. I'm consistent on that. The FBI investigated C and said there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute, which is odd to me still, but I don't have any access to how the FBI got to that determination. B's docs are relatively new (discovery that is), so I'm not sure how that will play out.

They are all different though, so each should be looked at distinctly IMV, hence my comment to Slob, i.e. if your only "defense" of a nefarious action is whatabout something or someone else that's similar but not the same, then its no "defense" at all.

Agree on the weaponization et al, that's a dark path for any country to decide to go down.

Legal authority would be anything that could move the needle away from guilt. Such as evidence that “it was an impersonator on the tape where he admits he stole and bragged about US military secrets without declassifying them. Trump was actually in his clubhouse at the time, paying hookers to squirt on him”. Now that’s a good defense.

What do you think Trump should be prosecuted for? Be specific. Because many presidents took documents. Biden took them as a senator and VP. Shouldn't they be in the same jail cell?
