What's going on Cal South and State Cup Semi's?

Might have to hit the campaign trail.

This might be a good time to open it up to the forum for some good campaign slogans, let's hear it.

I took a play off your handle :

Tech- powered by intellect, driven by the forum
Tech- taking on socals toughest soccer challenges
Tech- in a world of technology my specs make the difference

Of course we need to ask Bell south, AT and T and EXXON if it's ok

I had gone almost the entire day without thinking about it until you just mentioned it. It's not necessarily the best time to become a Team Manager with all the BC issues going on right now. Our new 06 team will literally have 3 kids that are 5'6" so I'm visiting with County Officials later this week to make sure everyone is authenticated.
Hopefully those 5'6 girls are not driving home after games.

I was wondering the same thing. Possibilities that came to mind in the first few minutes -
  • She was embarrassed to be part of it.
  • She was frustrated that she was unable to stop it.
  • She was upset that it was done without her input, since Anaheim is in her Orange County District.
  • She was overwhelmed by the amount of volunteer work involved in being DC, despite the promise that it involves "ten (10) hours to twenty (20) hours per month". I suspect that anyone directly involved in this spent more than 20 hours just on that one topic.
  • Something else?
Anyone up for the challenge? You could make a real difference or not. Politics.

So Cal South was notified when the team was moved that this player had a 2005 birth certificate in the system and did absolutely nothing? Baring some other documentation BW needs to be done coaching youth soccer. It seems from this email that RB made it abundantly clear that this girl would not be allowed to play in the 06 age group and rather than owning it he MOVED THE TEAM!!! By the way, with regards to the player you only get to submit one birth date and now she must live with the older one if Cal South lets them back in.

Ok @LASTMAN14 , that post is going to need some explaination as it appears to have come thru even AFTER AS was reinstated and played the game that day and the finals the next day.

It came in early the morning of as you can see the time when the email from CP was written. BW recanted his admission later that morning.

Let's revisit this post detailing EC's email to A. Surf's parents: http://www.socalsoccer.com/threads/...h-and-state-cup-semis.1688/page-13#post-48846

> "We perform our due diligence to the best of our ability every year when registering new and returning players in our club. Despite the clear evidence to the contrary, some in the soccer community continue to accuse our club of cheating by rostering an overage player. Let me emphatically state: we have only ever seen evidence that the player is correctly rostered and we believe the overwhelming evidence bears this out."

Also, I'm really looking forward to Mr. Jackten's thoughtful and witty rebuttal to the latest info.

> "Shocking....an official letter comes out and still no one believes.....I think I hurd that befour...yes, the conspiracy. Just comedy. The real comedy is reading all the funny stuff you all type."

Oh, and we're all still waiting for anyone to answer one simple question: If she was born in 2006 (and therefore eligible), why didn't she play in the semifinal and final?

Assuming that's authentic, did Thunderbolt bring a motion to exclude from evidence RB's admission to knowledge of the situation and statement that AS/BW knew as well? Now that's the play of State Cup...the Cinderella story in the face of overwhelming odds...Where is the CalSouth administrative law specialist when one needs it?

All jokes aside, did AS and SDS's attorney on AS's behalf actually push to have AS reinstated with this knowledge?

At that point I understand that CP was no longer being involved.
