Univ of Oregon womens coach abusive?

I've heard she's a tad bit abusive, too, no? That's 2nd and 3rd hand by the way.

Your thoughts? It'll be interesting to see who Davis replaces here with. I'd think that's a decent job.
Our good family friends daughter plays at Davis. She has enjoyed playing for Joyner and is going to miss her. However, she is not easy to play for and one has to be ready for that. That job will attract a solid coach.

Rumor that some Davis players may leave. Will see if it happens. Lots of players in the portal. Unless these players had some decent playing time they may find it hard to get recruited.
The count of Davis players that have left for Oregon I think is now at 6-7. Joyner as mentioned previously is not easy and is living up to that. She has already made 1 round of cuts from last years team (4) and will be making more. The team has been put on alert with 4-6 players warned they too will be forced out.

And, Abel was hired by Bay FC and stepped down after much criticism of his hiring.
It's interesting how he's resigns or steps down. I'm wonder so he can still get paid a portion of his contract? Maybe is gets another position at another team or club in the next year or so.

It's called getting new players out of the portal.

It's a big fraternity of bros that help each other out and I get that. You know, looking out for your own, if you know what I mean. I don't know Abel, but I hope he gets some help and can come back to coach again. Maybe not the girls but maybe he can be a change agent for good and maybe take some time to listen and not defend his side. My daughter had a yeller for a coach, and he was one of the best coaches she had but it was over the top at times. I was coach dad as well and I yelled a little at my wife over the years (spending money without asking:cool:) and my daughter, especially when she didn't listen to my commands. My dd actually helped me and has been one of my great teachers on earth. She is bold and will share her truth to her old man and boy did she. I'm serious you guys. She also told her coach as the captain of her Natty team to stop yelling at her and why is your face turning red at me and stop putting my teammates down in front of the team regarding gaining a little weight. That is not cool for the girls and should be done in private with their parents. Maybe talk with mom first and come up with a game plan. 13 and 14 girls' bodies are changing and some might gain a few pounds. Or some might start liking boys. I've said stupid stuff to when angry, so I'm not here to act like I would never yell at my kids. I think her old coach is an awesome guy by the way, and I think he too could be a voice for change in so many ways. Look folks, most girls and women don't want to be yelled at and disrespect like that. Let's make it better and forgive one another. Let's make soccer great again.
