Doesn't matter. I know that's your 'go to' but I don't care what CNN says about a republican. I already know it won't be fair and balanced media. Same with MSNBC. Same reason I don't follow FOX like it's gospel. If I know you have an agenda going in, not interested. I'll do my own research and find multiple sources to learn the truth.

While I can appreciate Ramaswamy business success, Haley has far more foreign policy experience and is reasonable about abortion. Republicans are losing elections because of their absolute pro-life stances, despite having far better policies overall.
Also there is something about Vivek that is off-putting to me, but I can't put my finger on it.

There are too many empty suits out there happy to be the face of the party and parrot whatever they are told - as long as they get their ice cream or their private parties at The French Laundry. There's a lack of authenticity in most politicians because they've been trained to repeat talking points and never developed any personal convictions. Our current VP is that to the extreme. Haley is to the Republican party what Biden was to the Democrats in the last election. When Bernie had momentum, the democratic party and the MSM threw everything behind Biden. The same thing is happening with Haley to counter Trump's stubborn popularity. They are pushing someone out there who will take orders. Vivek has his own ideas and he can articulate them in detail. He holds his own - wins in my opinion - in any debate and doesn't have to be propped up by the party or the media. He also wants to stop Congress from investing and becoming rich off their knowledge of the laws they are passing and considering. I'm sure that's an automatic disqualifier for the party.

I don't see Haley as an empty suit. She is certainly more "establishment" than Vivek relatively speaking, but she is hardly a bureaucrat. Vivek comes off as a gentler Trump, he seems a little smarmy to me. I also think she has bigger cajones than Vivek. Regardless, the remaining Republican candidates are lights years better than anyone the Dems can currently queue up. The Republicans have to be able to win a general election, which means they have to get the independent vote. I think she is better suited to do so.
It's going to be a crazy year. Maybe its just wishful thinking on my part, but I just don't see a Biden/Trump rematch.

I haven't researched his comment because he's irrelevant. I'm more concerned about what our elected officials say. And in full disclosure, I know very little about the Middle East, Israel specifically or the history surrounding what's happening... and I don't pretend to know.
I think you're right but the democrats have gone out of their way to make abortion an all-or-nothing issue and these are the same people crying "baby killers" with gun issues. Kind of ironic. They also said nothing when the Supreme Court had to stop JoeTato from pushing companies to fire unvaccinated employees. So again, when it comes to liberals, whenever it suits their agenda. My body; my choice... but only if we agree.
