Today in Fascism

Not hard to see these as plans to replace democracy with trumpism.

Those of us who lost everything for saying no to mandates and yes to helping kids be born will be getting a big reward very soon. President Trump will win for the 3rd time and what a charm that will be. Trump promised from Memorial Day 2025 til July 4th, 2026, We The people will have a jubilee and celebration unlike at any time in our country. 250 years and MAGA will have saved America from crazy people like yourself. The Marxist liars like you will be out. No more pay for play with you losers. It's going to be epic. Karma is coming for the cheaters, liars, killers, MAPs and the Pedos. Success will be our retribution. You know what comes with success, right🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑?

"The funniest part about the Trump “hush-money” trial is that our government is actively paying off Zelensky to keep his mouth shut about the corruption of the United States of America.

The NYC “trial” starting today consists of Michael Cohen who plead guilty to 8 counts (for lying LOL), a porn star with a ton of highway miles and a former editor of the National Enquirer.

This is going to boomerang tremendously and they don’t even realize it yet.

You better grab your popcorn." 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿Steve

They: We got to get Trump this time
Them: I agree
They: If he wins and MAGA take over, we going to jail
Them: I know. Plus, I can't consider myself as a lady with that mean Orange Man Trump. He won't let me a girl.

You started your response by claiming that an organization dedicated to ensuring that citizens keep their right to vote is somehow "leftist".

Who is losing their right to vote? Well, besides people wanting to vote for Trump because your side wants him off the ballot?

Brennan Center is widely described and known as "progressive", which is another term for leftist (aka a distinction without a difference). The comment was made to illustrate inherent bias, in which your link was an opinion piece. (I don't post from righty partisan websites like Breitbart and Newsmax) They are not leftist because they're fighting for voting rights, that's a mischaracterization that you made about my position in a red herring attempt. Voter rights are a noble cause, mischaracterizing the impacts of certain voter laws is not.

Here's a different opinion --

"While we had record turnout, how many people did we lose because they walked away and said, 'I don't want to stand in line'?" Beverly said.

He gives credit to voters and voting rights groups for a largely trouble-free election period.

"People turned out in spite of SB 202," he said, "not because of SB 202.

I don't necessary disagree with this statement. The fact is the bill clearly didn't negatively impact voter turnout as opponents claimed (especially those that called it Jim Crow 2.0). Georgia had unprecedented, record turn out despite the passing of SB 202. I suspect that the huge turnout was primarily due to a big Senate and Gubernatorial race and SB 202 had little if any impact related to the huge turnout...and my claim was never that it had increased voter turnout.

Didn't you post this? Or was it another of the similarly-opinioned personae on the forum?

Remember how the new Georgia voting laws were called "Jim Crow 2.0" by Democrats? All those lefty claims about disfranchisement. How'd that workout? Oh yeah, with increased voter turnout.

Remember all the usual suspects claimed that the law would depress turnout.

That title of the last opinion piece by espola is along the lines of....Despite Georgia's law requiring umbrellas and heavy rain, voters somehow stayed dry. Effects of the new law are unclear.

Correct. If voter turnout increased that flies in the face of claims it would reduce voter turnout, or disenfranchise voters. (I appreciate you're just trying to play semantics)
