Householder, former Ohio Republican Party chairman Matt Borges and three other men were charged with participating in a pay-to-play scheme that helped Householder win control of the Ohio House of Representatives in 2018, pass a $1.3 billion bailout for two nuclear plants in House Bill 6 and defend that law against a ballot initiative to block it.
"You know better than most people how much that money could have meant to the people of Ohio,” Black said of the $1.3 billion bailout. “How many lives could you have improved but you took that from the people of Ohio."

Depends. What is your view of the zoning which blocks apartment buildings on your street?Shall I accept this as your apology for misquoting me?
You lost me 100% with your vaccine and mask mandate bullshit Dad. When are you going to admit you were duped and you pushed false information on here that not only cost people their jobs but their lives as well? If you eat some crow, maybe I will try and hear your point of views. I have other dads on here that made fun of me and my daughter for getting suckered by liars & abusers in youth soccer. Some dads even threaten me, can you believe that? When they eat crow and say sorry, then our country will start to heal and those who treated me like shit can heal as well and karma will finish it's job. Karma comes in good and bad situations, depending on how you lived your life. PAY-FOR-PLAY made people do stupid things because of ego and competitiveness and wanting what's best for their dd and not what's right.Depends. What is your view of the zoning which blocks apartment buildings on your street?
If you support it, then I stand by my words. You are supporting a government intervention which makes it illegal to build homes for other people. Or did you not understand what zoning is?
If you oppose it, then please accept my apology. But only then.
Being that that was NOT even part of the discussion you and I were having it’s irrelevant (you do have a history of moving the goal posts), but OK ….apology accepted.Depends. What is your view of the zoning which blocks apartment buildings on your street?

Another thing that is a huge roadblock to affordable housing is the lack of landlord rights in California. The State/City/County government can limit the amount of rent you charge, or whether you pay it or not, as was the case during Covid. Additionally, the governments have significantly limited Landlords ability to evict tenants. There are currently bills in the California legislature to further increase properties subject to rent control and additional restrictions for evictions that fall outside of non-payment like for sale, redevelopment or if the Landlord wants to occupy the property.Being that that was NOT even part of the discussion you and I were having it’s irrelevant (you do have a history of moving the goal posts), but OK ….apology accepted.

During Covid we had a deadbeat renter that didn't pay for nearly 3 years and it took us over 3 years to evict him. We did get some money from the City, but it was capped and far less than the income lost.
It cuts both ways Watty. Reform is the only way to fix this big time on both sides. I was just helping a friend going through some tough stuff in South OC. Rent has gone up so high she is fooked big time. Landlord wants her ass out now because he can double the rent and find a non dead beat loser. She called the AHA hotline to seek help and the lady on the phone said their is no more waitlist. She was so nice and gave her some sound advice on her rights. She said she has never seen such a mess and she has helped those in need for over 20 years. Over 50,000 people are on the wait list for handouts and help, so they closed the help line for help. Our friend's ex-hubby took off with the loot and left her high and dry with her two HS kids. Total loser found a younger lady to play with on his boat, no joke. The only way to get help with rental assistance in CA right now is if you live in your car or are about to. The whole thing is a complete cluster fire and both sides are stuck in the middle. We need to come together and fix this the right way. I got in early at my apartment 5 years ago. It was $2100 and now it's almost $2800. The same place is going for over $4000 a month now. 2 bdr and a view of a cement wall next to the 73.Another thing that is a huge roadblock to affordable housing is the lack of landlord rights in California. You completely misquoted me and misrepresented my argument. Then add in a clause that is outside of the topic that I’m supposed to agree to in order for you to apologize for misquoting and misrepresenting my points? You skipped a step there.
Some of the students got ripped off big time. They hand these loans out like candy. A smart tradesman out of high school can't get a loan to go start a business that will help pay the loan back. The kids like my son are having a very hard time finding work in socal and the cost of rent is insane. Do you see what these fools have done to CA?I KNOW... I KNOW... I KNOW... Pay your fucking bills.
What should borrowers do now that Biden's college debt forgiveness plan is dead?
The Supreme Court has ruled against the Biden administration's blanket college loan forgiveness plan, denying debtors the instant relief the program offered. But they still have better options for managing their debt than they did before the court took up the case.www.latimes.com
