We've always had tribalism. It's not about empathy, it's about going where the audience is. If young men are listening to certain podcasts, then get on those podcasts. If you can't hack the podcasts, then you shouldn't be running for national office.Empathy isn’t “hot” right now. “All Americans” connected for the greater good has been tossed aside for tribalism and brand loyalty. As Dave Mustaine sang, “Peace sells, but who’s buying?”.
The Dem's had a prominent left leaning podcaster, his name was Joe Rogan, but their lack of common sense lost him. As far as Kamala is concerned, yeah her campaign didn't help her, but there is not enough lipstick at Sephora to hide that pig. She is also incapable of doing long form podcast interviews, she struggles with one or two questions. I also doubt that Rogan would have edited her answers. On the young male front, Harris' campaign really fucked up. She should have gone to TX and done the podcast with Rogan. Trump's podcast had like 50M views, 20M in the first 24 hours. Harris should have put her big boy pants on and gone there and not try to dictate he comes to her or whatever. If she or her campaign were in any way worried about doing a podcast with Joe Rogan, then they shouldn't have been running for President - like seriously!
On the podcast front, the Dems are trying to raise funds to create a podcast echo chamber to counter the right's dominance there. That's not how it works obviously, but they don't seem to be able to deal with organic growth and no control. There are plenty of left or even central leaning podcasts that could be banded together into an ecosystem, without trying to exert any control, by just asking them to promote each other.
Thank you for posting something from the left that's not TACO related.Yes, experts said that businesses were stockpiling and the numbers show that to be true. The orders declined drastically in Apr once the tariffs kicked in

So YTD 2024, $374B, YTD 2025 $516B, or an increase of $142B in our Goods deficit.
Huh! I never thought trade numbers were either left or right, just the numbersThank you for posting something from the left that's not TACO related.
I said at the time that I didn't think Harris was a good pick, and that I thought either Whitmer or Shapiro were better options, both as candidates with experience (running states) and given where they were governors. No idea why or how Waltz got the nod.The Dem's had a prominent left leaning podcaster, his name was Joe Rogan, but their lack of common sense lost him. Podcasts aren't the Dem's problem, nor is the syntax they use with young white males. Their problem is message and messenger. I know that liberals are creaming their pants in glee about how clever they think their TACO acronym is, but the Trump name calling isn't a real policy nor an effective approach as the last election clearly showed. If I had a slogan that the Dems should adopt it would be MANA....Make America Normal Again. They continue to choose 20% issues like men competing against women and appearing to care more for criminal illegal aliens than American citizens. Let's be perfectly honest, it shouldn't have been that hard to defeat Trump, but the DNC grossly miscalculated their ability to hide Biden's cognitive impairment and then were stuck with Harris (you know full well she wasn't their first choice, but only choice given the timing). Then she and/or the DNC doubled down on incompetence with the chucklehead Walz. The DNC's biggest FUBAR was not having real primaries. Biden implied he was going to be a one-term president, they should have held him to that.
The concept of left leaning is an interesting term given how far left the center has moved. I'd argue that 2015 Obama would be considered left leaning and and that 2000 Clinton might be considered right leaning.
One person I find intriguing as a democrat presidential candidate is Rahm Emanual. I don't think he has any of the baggage of the Biden administration and if he runs as more of a moderate he might have a chance with independents. AOC, Sanders and that ilk, are non-starters.
I'll say it again, American politics are in a race for the bottom and Dems have a huge lead.
I meant you, not the numbers!Huh! I never thought trade numbers were either left or right, just the numbers![]()
That’s the point, the audience isn’t in the empathy sphere right now. They are angry (on both sides now) and young men love nothing more than angry. We've always had tribalism. It's not about empathy, it's about going where the audience is. If young men are listening to certain podcasts, then get on those podcasts. Are you kidding? Reagan would be considered just slightly towards center of Bernie and AOC by today’s “republicans”.The Dem's had a prominent left leaning podcaster, his name was Joe Rogan, but their lack of common sense lost him. Did you just fall out of a coconut tree? Are you kidding? Reagan would be considered just slightly towards center of Bernie and AOC by today’s “republicans”.
Are you saying the right has stayed put while it’s the left that’s moved so much?Did you just fall out of a coconut tree?
Keep embarrassing yourself with these butthurt memes.
I guess posting mindless drivel beats having to admit Trump is making positive things happen for Americans, right?Skywriting -- (Be sure to turn on the sound)

Keep posting these. It just illustrates how pathetic you are.
LMFAO! "athletes assigned female at birth." My God... these libtards have learned nothing.
I'm positive that t is making things happen to Americans. The SCOTUS gave him a free pass, so only Congress can rein him in now, and that is not likely to happen until January 2027 (assuming that t hasn't come up with a way to cancel the 2026 elections by then*).I guess posting mindless drivel beats having to admit Trump is making positive things happen for Americans, right?

You're definitely on the spectrum. Are you saying the right has stayed put while it’s the left that’s moved so much?
I say in contrast it may seem that way. Depending on one’s spot on the spectrum.
Trump is making things happen FOR Americans. If you're not an American, you might just be shit out of luck.I'm positive that t is making things happen to Americans.
