Its probably because they don't want to lie for once or they could just be speechless. They don't want to say they are reciprocal tariffs because they are not. The tariffs being levied are based on the trade gap and have nothing to do with the tariffs being charged by other countries. Its impressive that so many people would lie so openly to the American people, and apparently feel no shame about it whatsoever!

In fairness to Joe, he wasn’t all there and we really couldn’t expect the “adults in the room” to take action against a President they knew to be compromised. But that’s all in the past, right? They were in jail for a month - how is it Biden's fault? They also agreed to pay the $117K, which may have had something to do with it. Their Rep did great work, actually flying down to Mexico to get them out.

Well $6T lost and counting. I'll go out on a limb and say that would be the headline on the site if it was Biden ... To add insult to injury, Trump has completely fucked up the whole tariffs "philosophy" or whatever it is by saying live on air that countries can negotiate to get them down or out. What company is now going to put together a multi-year capital plan which will costs millions/billions when they don't know if the tariffs will be gone in a week (for the market they are in). You couldn't make up this level of stupid!

Isn't that the entire idea of the tariffs to begin with? To generate dialogue and show you're interested in a deal more than anything?

Like when libtards were shitting their pants over Trump not calling Rocket Man and Putin "assholes"? Kinda tough to negotiate and make deals doing that. It's almost like not getting astronauts home for 7 months when Elon can do it in 7 days.
